I get nervous and have anxiety attacks when I leave the house and I cry constantly and don't even have a reason to!. Well I finally made an appointment to see a Dr!. a few weeks ago and the appointment is not till the end of October, but my husband and I are fighting like crazy because I am scared to go anywhere and when I do try and start shaking and crying he gets mad!.!.!. its like damned if I do and damned if I don't, I love him to death but I am tired of fighting about the same thing all the time, how can I get us through this until my appointment!? Or how can I get him to understand that I don't like feeling this way either and if I could snap my fingers and say depression and anxiety go away, I would!!! Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc!.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc!.

Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level!.
But there are natural ways to do it without medication!. There's this strange herb called "St John's Wort" - it is said to be more effective than Prozac!. No, it is not for mild depression only and ignore those sayings!. In fact, it does help anxiety and panic-attacks as St John's Wort works like prozac!. Other natural ways will be exercise, diet, more exposure to light, etc!.

The problem is that, even if your Serotonin is balanced!.!.!. you have that "learned behavior" in your mind!. You need to break that initial cycle to destroy that learned behavior - Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) does this!. A technique that you can use without CBT will be Distraction!.!.!. There are several other techniques to help cope them!
Ok, to use Distraction: Firstly, try to!.!.!.!.

Call your provider and tell him that you need an emergency appointment!. You moods are for sure affecting your activities of daily living!. If you can not get into him try to contact your OB, you are still in the post partum period and they may see you or they may be able to referr you to a mental health specialist so you can get the help you need as soon as possible!. Good for you and taking control and seeking the help that you need!.
Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Everyone is scared of something!. So ask your husband what makes his balls creep up and grow cold!. (he will know what I'm talking about)!.
If he is honest enough to tell you about that situation, then you can explain to him "well, that is how I feel when I have to leave the house"!.
If he then doesn't understand what you're saying, then maybe your anxiety comes from sharing your life with a dick!.
Lose the dick and things will get better!?

GET back on your medsWww@Answer-Health@Com

I know and can understand exactly what your talking about b/c i too went through the same thing!.!.!.

I been taken meds for my anxiety, depression, and sleep since i was a young teenager and then me and my husband decided to have a baby and i immediately stopped taking those meds but i was so depressed during the entire pregnancy where i couldn't take it anymore and had to go on my meds in the last trimester!.!.!. and been taking it ever since!.!.!.!.

As my advice for you just sit him down maybe before dinner or bed and say "I really need to have an important talk with you, please let me explain everything that i need to and then it will be your turn and i will listen to everything you have to say, also remember i love you very much and that's why we really need to talk about this" So then from there begin to explain what you go through everyday and how hard it is to even _______"!.!.!.!.and anything else you have to say!. Then when that part is done say lets come up with a solution we both can work on at least till im able to go to the doctors!.!.!.

That set up works for great for my husband and I when we have problemsWww@Answer-Health@Com

I know what you are going through!. I suffer from anxiety and depression as well!. You could go to an emergency room and try to get some meds!. Sometimes they will give you some if they see you are in crisis and if you let them know the situation with your Dr!. appointment and the fact that you have been on meds before!. Let them know what you were taking!. If you have an old Rx!. bottle take it with you!. I have done this and they gave me meds!. to last until my Dr!. appointment!.
If not go to the health food store and get some homeopathic medicine!. Ask the herbalist what would be best for you!. Please do something for yourself!. I know the pain!.!.!.and!.!.!.it is hard to understand unless you have been through it yourself!.!.!.it is sad but true!. So, don't expect your hubby, friends or family members to understand if they have not been "really" depressed or had anxiety attacks!. Just try to get help on your own!. Only YOU know how you feel!. God Bless You!Www@Answer-Health@Com
