Question: Under what circumstances would you consider suicide!?
This was a question that was talked about while I was hospitalized!. During my unforgettable week in the hospital (no, I wasn't able to leave), I had many group sessions and some of it I actually remembered!. One of it was this very question that a patient had asked!. Everyone, by this time was very comfortable with each other and even the therapist had offered her answer!. She told us that she would only consider suicide if she was been kept as a hostage and beaten and it was clear that it would not end!. She mentioned that it would be only to stop the physical harm!. This stuck with me!.
So, I pose this question to everyone that is willing to answer!.

I consider life as a gift given by God and that it should be tended with love and care and it should not be nipped in the bud!. Under any circumstance i would not consider committing suicide, because there is a solution to every problem!.!.!.every cloud has a silver lining!.!.!.!.suicide is not the solution to ANY problem!. Only cowards commit suicide!.!.!.As far the example you've given is concerned, if i were to be in that position, i wouldn't have opted for the choice of parting with my life!. What if i committed suicide and the very next day all the hostages are freed!?!!?!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
I would not want to live as the following:Blind,paralyzed(full or partial),without a limb,or disfigured!.Or if I was sentenced to prison!.I couldn't handle it!.I'd rather die than live under any of the above circumstances!.Also if I found out I was terminally ill with something like inoperable cancer,ALS,Huntington's,Alzheimer's,etc!. That is slow,and will be torture!.I have seen someone eaten alive with cancer and dementia!.It is cruel!.Better to off yourself while you still can!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
The only reason for me is if it were to save one of my children!. I think suicide is a cowardly act!. No matter what I was going through I would always try to find a better way out of it!. I have been through too much and seen way too much death to ever consider suicide as a way out of a situation!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
