Is this body dysmorphic disorder? how is it treated?!

Question: Is this body dysmorphic disorder!? how is it treated!?
Like whenever I look in the mirror I always see a fat, ugly blimp even though some people call me pretty and I only weigh 101!. I can hang out with friends but avoid social situations with strangers because I'm scared of them having to look at my face cause I think it's that bad!. If people give me a compliment about how I look, I can never take it seriously!. I'm afraid to be myself in public places because I'm afraid of being judged!. I even have to be careful how I walk and talk!. All this is driving me crazy, what the heck is wrong with me!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It is a mix of BDD and low self esteem!. I personally, do not think this can be helped by a shrink, or any type of drug!. I have this problem too!.

I have this too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This sounds like a body image/ low self esteem issue which body dysmorphia stems from but doesn't sound like you have!. So, I also feel self conscious and ugly!. Sometimes I'm afraid of people judging me based in my body!. People with body dysmorphia have this in an extreme way!. They spend scads of money on plastic surgery and it's never enough, and it's almost like they are addicted to it!. Surgery, no matter what the money or health costs!. They will use odd things to "improve" their appearance, like floor wax to get that healthy glow!. I'm dead serious!. Most of us have body image issues!. Some of us have severe body image issues and relared social anxiety!. But, unless you are doing weird things like those above, you do not have body dysmorphia proper!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
