Question: Who can I talk to if I'm too poor to afford a therapist!?
I don't really know of anyone I can talk to!. I have a cousin by marriage who's a therapist, but she's religious (I'm not) and my cousin and it'd be weird!. I don't have many friends and all of my close ones are away (at college or moved)!. And I can't talk to my parents because they'll act understanding but they'll tell me to "pray about it" AND THAT DOESN'T F*CKING HELP!!! I WISH THEY WOULD STOP SAYING THAT FOR ONCE!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Find a large college or university near you with a Nursing Program!.!.!. and see if they have a Master's Level Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Program!. See if they can hook you up with someone!. OR!.!.!.!. see if they have a Psychology Dept!. that can address your question!. There might be a mental health number (to call) in your community that might offer options too!. You don't say how old you are!.!.!. that would help me direct you better too!. If you are in school there are some options that might be available there!.

Look online or in the yellow pages for Local Therapist!.!. !.if they can't help with $$ they can recommend someone that can!. Local Missions and Hospitals can recommend someone sometimes!.
Also, Most good church counselors will not push religion on you!. If they do find another one!. My church counselor never once has mentioned praying about my problem !. Or tell your cousin you don't want religion brought into the conversation!. I am a Christian, but STRONGLY believe GOD and Religion should never be forced or put on someone!.
Do be careful though about a Counselor that is judgemental!.!. THEY SHOULD be a priest not a counselor!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Since your cousin is a therapist, she could probably recommend someone for you!. You could ask her to keep it confidential that you asked and then she can't legally tell anyone, even your parents!. I am seeing someone who's normally very expensive, but knows my situation and lets me pay 25/hour!. I'd say your cousin would be your best contact!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
My experience has been that people's advice doesn't help much without God's power, but you can choose what you want!. There are mental health clinics that consider your income!. You might find one near you!. It's hard to discuss intense problems with friends unless they've gone through similar things!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can talk to a local employment office!. Most states have them and they can help u find a job!. Ask them to find u one with benefits!. If it all works out well you will be able to see the therapistWww@Answer-Health@Com
