I am kind of worried about this.?!


Question: I am kind of worried about this!.!?
In school, socially I would consider myself in the top 85% popularity wise, yet I am still having these sick thoughts of killing people that I don't like!.!.!. Sometimes they're really nasty images!. Is this normal or do I need to see someone!? I know I will never act on them, but I still feel bad about it!. Please no rude comments, that is not what I need right now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As crazy as this sounds, we all have a dark side!. Everyone fantasizes about "offing" some SOB we don't like - sometimes graphically!. The real problem is when someone exhibits truly anti-social behavior AND has such grim thoughts!. A psychologist will tell you that as long as your impulse control is in check that such nasty thoughts are perfectly harmless!. If it bothers you, try to imagine that rotten so-and-so being stranded on a desert island overrun with snakes or bugs!.!.!. something less violent, but perhaps more comical!. There used to be a bumper sticker that said, "SMILE - Make the world wonder what your up to!."Www@Answer-Health@Com

Adolescent age groups can get frustrated and sometimes one way of mentally resolving some socially frustrating problems!.!.!. are to act-out "in thought" some resolution!. We all have done it! It is not a healthy way!.!.!. and if it becomes the only way!.!.!. an impulsive moment with all the the variables lined up!.!.!. could spell disaster!. One or a group of persons "bullying" or "embarrassing" can push their buttons!.

What you describe has been the early profile of some individuals that have not grown to learn appropriate ways to handle issues/problems!. You sound like you have a conscious and level of insight that you are not at risk at the moment!. Often persons that get into trouble are!.!.!. loner types with poor self-esteem!. They often find a friend that focuses on building negativity and they together build a coping style that is obsessive, aggressive and hostile toward others that don't see life as they do!. They have no tolerance for anyone that is critical or makes rude comments!. This friendship reinforces that negative thinking and coping style!. Everyone one is slotted into either a good or bad category!.

Many times they have been abused as children!. Abuse can be physical, sexual, and or emotional in nature!.

I think you might benefit from a confidential screening!. A school psychologist might be helpful!.!.!.!. take a printout of your question and all the responses and see what you can learn!. Your insight to this!.!.!. might make you a very good psychologist in years to come!. This is an opportunity to grow and learn!. Good Luck! :-)

Fantasy is normal, of course, but thoughts of harming others should not be taken lightly!. Please, ask for some counseling help; talk therapy is a great way to learn more about yourself!. Maybe it can help you with the way you feel, because obviously, these thoughts are disturbing you!. No one should think less of you for asking for help; in fact, you should be proud of the fact that you are adult enough to say, Hey, this is bothering me and I need some help to deal with it!. There are plenty of free counseling services available, so take advantage of them, for your own benefit!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sometimes!.!. people go through weird phases like this!.!. no worries!.!. I think it would be best though to go to a councilor!. Because you probably will never act on them, but you feel bad and obviously you want to stop thinking about it, so talk to someone professional they wont think your weird!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
