Question: Has anyone taken an ADHD test before!? What does it consist of and why does it take so long!?
My doctor suggested that I take an ADHD test and referred me to a testing site!. My testing date is in a couple weeks!. They told me that it should take 4-6 hrs to complete and that seems like a really long time!. I don't know how I'm going to sit through a test that takes that long!. Anyone have any experience with this!? Am I going to be bored out of my mind!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was diagnosed when i was a child, my parents had me on ritalin, and it has followed me all through my life into adulthood, the best way i can describe it for me is like listening to a radio in your mind and the channel just keeps skipping to other stations , and is especially bad first thing in the morning, you just can't focus on one station, i also took a test in adulthood, and of course i was put on 2 different medications which really seemed to help, the test was a couple of hours and mainly focused on my attention issues, past experiences etc!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I have and it is your parents and one of your teachers filling out this questionnaire this then the doctors review it and they will decide but if they can't tell then the might give you coffee to see if you get sleepy or tired if you get tired then it is a positive yes that you have ADHD I was diagnosed in 4th grade but ever Sense kindergarten it has gotten worse and worse but then it gotten a faster speed of getting worse in 3rd and 4th grade but now I am ok but I am still bad but think of it as a gift and don't worry if you have it it is a gift that you should be proud of it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
its like do you lose attention fast do you get hyperactive often do you have trouble sleeping do you often act without thinking
it doesn't take long but other people have to judge u too
your boss would have to take the test close Friend parent they do that to make sure you don't abuse the meds

There has to be some early childhood symptoms!. I flunked the third grade and have mild dyslexia!. People with ADD nearly 100% use tobacco because nicotine is like the drugs they treat ADD with without smoking we can't function!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
