Okay I've had anxiety & panic attacks before!. Well 8 days ago I had a REALLY bad panic attack and went to the ER!. they said it was just a panic attack (which I knew logically it was too!.!.but physically I was scared and went to the er) Okay I have meds and stuff I take regularly for depression & anxiety!. Here is the thing!. Ever since that last panic attack I had 8 days ago (dizzy, smoothering feeling, felt lump in throat, felt as if I couldn't breathe) I have felt okay!. The thing is I'am now really afraid that I will all of a sudden have another attack!. And I try not to think about it!. Ok here is whats going on!.!.!. I have been breathing in really deep every so often to make sure my lungs are working!. I know that sounds silly, but for some reason I have been doing it!. I'm just afraid that I'm not getting enough oxygen!. My Question is!.!.!.!.!. has anyone who has anxiety or panic attack afterwards for an extended period of time felt the need to inhale DEEP to make sure your breathing!?!? I do try not to do it but I think I'm still a bit anxious!. I've been taking my Xanax & Klonopan (cant spell) and I still do it!. Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same problems!. I went to the ER 3 times during the summer!. I worry that I will overdose on my medicine and die!. I take 8 different meds at night!. I've had anxiety/panic disorder for 10 years, and I take Klonopin 1/2 mg!. a day, and it keeps me level!. Anxiety brings on irrational thoughts, like are your lungs working!. Yes, your lungs are working just fine!. You have more power than you think you have!. You don't need to do deep breathing, just regular breathing!.

Have you been exercising!? Exercising is a great help for panic/anxiety!. Also, cut out any junk food, and expecially caffeine!. Don't drink diet Coke, Pepsi, or any of that stuff!. Drink herbal tea that helps you to relax!. You ARE going to be all right!. You know that most of this panic/anxiety disorder is in the mind!. You can conquer your own fears, but it takes persistence, so don't give up!. Start practicing yoga and meditation, too!. It helped me a lot!. I wish you the very best!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Okay!.!.!.You really have a bad case of anxiety & panic attacks!. Other than prescriptions, have you tried any other kind of therapy!? What I mean is something like aromatherapy!? The scent of Lavender has a soothing effect on a person!. You can get salts to put into bath water that will help you relax!. What about getting a cd with white noise on it - like the sound of a waterfall, or a stream, etc!.!.You could also go to your local health food store and ask about essential oils!. These also have a calming effect, and they do work!. If you plan to stay on your prescriptions, try upping the dosage!. It sounds to me like their not strong enough for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

see panic attacks are a serious situation and can be cured without medication also!. I myself suffered from panic attacks in the past so I will be able to take you by hand and help you achieve a panic attack free life!. Medication didn't do much in my case and it differs from person top person!. see basically what i did earlier when an attack struck was pretend like i was about to puke , run to the loo and take deep breaths!.It was really awkward sometimes but i had no other option!. I then started taking walks in the morning and visualizing myself panic free!. listening to relaxation music and deep breathing did sooth the problem but did not eliminate it!. My friend got me a free ebook which guarantees a panic free life!. It is FREE and I had to search my hard-disk to find this file!. I have uploaded it to my site, hope I could help!. Panic attacks are like waves, don't try fighting it just ride on top of it!.

Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc!.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc!.

Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level!.
But there are natural ways to do it without medication!. There's this strange herb called "St John's Wort" - it is said to be more effective than Prozac!. No, it is not for mild depression only and ignore those sayings!. In fact, it does help anxiety and panic-attacks as St John's Wort works like prozac!. Other natural ways will be exercise, diet, more exposure to light, etc!.

The problem is that, even if your Serotonin is balanced!.!.!. you have that "learned behavior" in your mind!.
