Is this too much Aderall?!
Question: Is this too much Aderall!?
I have recently been diagnosed with adult adhd!. My doctor prescribed me Aderall (which i was surprised) and I went to the pharmacy yesterday and filled it!.
I may have misread the prescription the doctor write because i thought he was giving me 5 mg to start off with but thats not what the pharmacy gave me!.
I took the pill yesterday at 6pm (I thought it was only 5 mg, that I should be ok to go to sleep about 12 or so, I took the late night chance because I was excited to see if it was immediately helpful)
So I took the pill yesterday and after about an hour I realized I was really hot and felt the need to organize my Monopoly money into piles and certain bill order (we were playing)!.
My husband (who has adhd) said I shouldnt feel like that so I went to look at the bottle and it was 20 MG!!!!
I feel like thats a lot to start out with, am I wrong!?
I didnt go to bed until 5 am and even then i couldnt shut my mind off but to doze in and out!. So I awoke again at 10am and im cleaning the house!.
If I misunderstood and i WAS supposed to have the 20 mg then is how I feel normal!? Is this too much at first!? Please help I need some somewhat legitimate advice!.

20 mg is a hefty dose to start with, but not a huge dose overall (40 mg s typically the highest dose you'll get to)!. Call your doctor to confirm that this is the proper dosage!.
And never take it at 6 pm again!. You will be up all night like you were last night!. You're supposed to take it first thing in the morning!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think it's a high dose to start on, it's what I started on!. Just don't ever take it at night again & I'm sure it stated take one in the a!.m!. on the RX bottle!. I'm sorry, but even if you thought it were 5 mgs, what were you thinking!? Adder all is an amphetimine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
