Arr i cant get to sleep?!


Question: arr i cant get to sleep!?
i just cant!.!.
i hopped in bed at (10 pm on the dot) and now its 12:11am and i cant get to sleep!.!.
ive tried watching tv i usually fall asleep to that
ive even tryed counting sheep i got up to 1021 and realized it was hopless

This is the best method!. It works without fail!. And i mean that! Im one of those people who can lie in bed for 2 hours and not fall asleep!. But i use this method and within a minute or two im asleep!.

The idea is that its very hard to fall asleep if u are moving!. This is understandable i guess!. However having to just lie still means your mind can wonder and your brain starts to get quite hectic and u cant fall asleep!. So:

lie in bed and dont move!. Count to 30 reasonably slowly in your head (maybe count a bit slower than 1 second, 2 second etc!.!.!.perhaps take about 50 seconds to count to 30) and concentrate on the counting so that ur mind doesnt wonder!. During this count, u must not move at all!. However!.!.!.when u have counted to 30 seconds, u can fidget and get into a different position if u want!. Then restart and count to 30 again without moving!. Again!.!.once u get to 30, u can fidget for a few seconds!.

What usually happens is that after your first count, u may just scratch your leg or something, then on the second count to 30 you fall asleep because your brain gets locked into the monotony of counting to 30 and it does it subconciously while u start to fall asleep!. The most important thing is that u know u are allowed to fidget when the 30 is up, but not to move during that count!.

I'm a terrible sleeper haha,
think back, when did you wake up this morning!? If it was late that means your body isn't ready to sleep, it's still wide awake from it's long sleep!.
What excersize did you do today!? If you sat around doing nothing, that means you will feel sluggish and tired but your body wants you to get active really and you wont be able to sleep!.
Are you troubled by anything!? If something is, try to put it right!.
Talk to people in the day, it makes my brain work very hard in the day so at night i feel very sleepy!.
Eat very healthily, if you eat crisps, and stuff all day you will feel tired, a healthy meal is something to make your body healthy again and the healthier you are the easier it will be to go to sleep!.
Do you have a regular sleeping pattern!? If i varies alot it can confuse your body clock so try to get to sleep by following all of the above at a regular time that isn't too late or too early!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i hav a gud remedy for u!!
fold all ur fingers except middle finger of both ur hands, place d 2 fingers on the sphenoid ( beside ur eye socket) & on the notch (eyebrows) and rub them for 5-10 mins
close ur eyes while doing, u feel relax & feel sleepy!.!.!.!.

I always have this problem!.
Every week or so, change the direction that your head points in your bed!. i!.e sleep the other way round!.
It helps me because I get bored of sleeping in the same position!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i find listening to music can help m drift off!.!.!. or why dont you try eating!.!.!.maybe you're hungry but cant be bothered to go down and eat!.!.!.i know i do that!.!.!. oreos and a warm lgass of milk usually does the trick!.!.!.;)Www@Answer-Health@Com

cut any caffiene intake you had
excezise and get tired during the day
read someonething that you've been reading for ages and are boring!.
wake up early, and avoid sleeping during the day (such as evening naps)!.

Try readin!? a warm bath/shower b4 you go to bed, lavender scent!? what about trying a rrelaxation cd/mp3 on ya ipod!. that normally helps me nod offWww@Answer-Health@Com

chamomille tea, warm milk, hot bath, or tylenol pm
