What 12 step group for sex addiction or lust addiction really works?!

Question: What 12 step group for sex addiction or lust addiction really works!?
My husband is a lustaholic!. He is addicted to lust!. He does internet porn, sees prostitutes, compulsively masturbates, leers at women, calls phone sex lines and I think he has had affairs!. He wants to stop and attended some 12 step groups!. We are Christians, but want a 12 step program which you don't have to have Jesus as your higher power!.

Any ideas!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
There are several 12 step groups!. I know Lustaholics Anonymous or L!.A!. accepts everyone and they follow A!.A's traditions and steps!. Members can decide about a higher power for themselves!. They have had many people helped with this awful disease!. For the family members and friends there is COSA, S-anon, and CODA!.
For Sobriety LA respect committed relationships between all people!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1st of all you need to leave him immediately before he brings home a disease to you and it will also show him there are consequences to his behaviors!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.secondly you can not make him go to a 12 step program if he isnt willing to change 12 step programs help people who want to help themselves!.!.!.!.!.!.thirdly he needs to ask himself if he really is a christian!.!.!.!.!.!.someone who wants to please god does not go to prostitutes!.!.!.!.!.!.!.if you dont leave him you will be SORRY!.!.!.!.let him seek out help then you will really see if he wants to stopWww@Answer-Health@Com

If you don't want Jesus, try Rational Recovery at rational!.org!. They're primarily concerned with substance abuse!. However, on the home page there's a section on, ahem, lustful conduct!.
Twelve step groups can be risky, especially for sex type stuff!. Could you imagine a bunch of, say, child molesters meeting together to "share"!? Child molesters sponsoring other child molesters!? One guy says," I've got 3 years today without molesting a child!" Everyone in the room claps!. Another chap says he's only got 2 days!. Then another, morosely looking down, says,"I 'relapsed' last night!." "Awwwwww, that's okay" cries the group,"just keep coming back"!
You don't need that 12 step crap!. No one really ever gets better in those groups!. There's a mountain of empirical evidence indicating this, if you do the research!.
Rational Recovery demands a zero tolerance commitment!. You're entitled to that, after what you've been through, aren't you!? He took a vow before God when he married you, didn't he!? If he dies while in his sin, he may have a lot bigger problem than just lust!.
One question!. You said "we're christians, but we want a group where Jesus doesn't have to be your higher power"!? HUH!? You can't have two masters, but He will set free the willing!.!.!.!.!.believe it!Www@Answer-Health@Com

good god! he needs to get a GRIP! Has he absolutely NO self control!?

I think he needs a formal mental assessment & LOCK DOWN!. Seriously--being totally away from it for a while "cold turkey" is what he needs because he's too far gone & has no self control!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think it depends on how dedicated and committed someone is to changing!. Just like with AA or NA, if they are really committed to "working" the 12-Steps than they can be successful!. But they cannot "half-***" it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Check out this website I think it might help!

Good luck
