Everybody patronizes me. NEED HELP!!!?!


Question: Everybody patronizes me!. NEED HELP!!!!?
my whole life people have been seeing me as a "child"!. i am not dumb or anything!. i am 20 years old and i am in college!. i was always quite a good student and i have also worked in my life!. but always i had this feeling that in everybody's eyes i was "little" or "incapable"!. and now this mentality is in my brain too!. i see others as smarter or luckier than me!. i feel like i have to struggle to be as good as others!. i feel 'lucky" if a girl shows she likes me but i rarely do the first step because i am sure i will not meet her expectations because i will be boring!. what can i do to boost my self-respect!?

I agree with the first answer, and also self help groups as there a lot of people who are hurting like you!. Honey you need to build your self confidence!.

It will be a hard road, as you have felt all your life like you are not good enough, or you have to better your self!. Honey your perfect the way you are, you just need a little push in the right direction!.

I am still going through this, and it is hard, I have always felt that I have or had to prove myself to people, and a lot of it comes from our up bringing, due to our parents / or other family members making us feel inadequate or incompetent!.

Honey, you like me need to build up our self confidence and go to groups, these help so much!.

I know exactly how you feel!. I have been through this feel buddy!. The best thing to do is remember that you are number one, and if you are in college then you aren't dumb!. You need to phase out every body else and just stop caring about what others think!. That is the key to true freedom!. GL!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi this may sound strange but find yourself a good Martial arts class like kung fu it will give you better focus self esteem and build your self confidence give a try you sound as if you have got a lot on your plate it will also help you manage your stress a bit better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

succeed at something!.!.!.!.one success at a time!.!.!.set a goal and meet it!.!.!.you don't have to prove anything to anyone else, just yourself!.!.!.!.don't keep those negative thoughts with you!.!.!.!.use affirmations (it sounds corny, but is a proven way to help overcome low self esteem) First of all believe in yourself and try to take each day as it comes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
