Go talk to a counselor, or a trusted adult!. Either the counselor at your school, or someone from your church (if you go to one), or a community health clinic, or your parents, or the parents of one of your friends!.

The only way to stop self-harming is to deal with the problems in your life that cause you to want to hurt yourself!. I've been down that road, I've got permanent scars on both arms covering my arm from my wrist all the way up to my elbow, all scar tissue!.!. So I cut a lot! With a lot of work on my part, a few really good self-help and encouragement books, and a skilled counselor, I've gotten completely rid of the urge to cut! So it can be done, but you need to find someone to talk to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try to figure out what is causing you to feel like going back to hurting yourself!. What is the stress you are feeling when you get that urge to self harm!? Try to think of the scars you will be putting on your body that you will have to live with and look at for the rest of your life!.
I have to look at a certain scar every day which reminds me of that day when I was feeling so bad!. Please take care of yourself and stay safe!.

There is a medication called Naltrexone, usually prescribed for alcohol or heroin addiction!. It has been shown to stop cutting altogether in some individuals!. It is still being tested on cutters!. Ask your doctor!.

Meanwhile, try putting ice on where you want to cut (not ice pack, straight burning cold ice), or hold out your arms until they hurt like hell!. Try to keep your mind off it!. Maybe answer some of the questions here!? Help others who need help!.
