You're trading one type of self harm for another!. This means that the underlying issue has not been dealt with!. It's getting to be a vicious cycle and is most likely taking a real toll on your body!. The cycle must stop!. Just any therapist will not do in this type of situation!. Unless they're specifically trained, they can do more harm than good!. You need to locate a clinic (or at least a therapist) that specializes in eating disorders!. The unfortunate part is that they can be hard to find!. The good thing is that the right treatment can be very effective!. To find one, do an internet search on eating disorder clinics and therapy for your state or country!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you managed to tackle the eating disorders then you can use a similar approach to the cutting, but if you haven't addressed any of the issues then the help you need is from professionals, that's healthcare professionals, face to face!. This forum can offer some support in expressing sympathy and some can probably empathise but you really need to get an appointment with your GP to refer you to specialist help in tackling these problems!.
Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok, well do you feel depressed!? if you do, it is important to see a doctor right away, because you are hurting yourself!
if you dont really feel depressed, and you just do it for a reason i dont know, think about it---

-why do you do it!?
-does it make you feel better!?
-how!?
-could you make yourself feel better in other ways, like hanging out with friends, watching something funny, going for walks in the sun, etc!.
-why don't you try those above!?

if you really cant stop though, pleeeeeaaase see a doctor, because its not good to unecessarily hurt yourself!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Have you tried DBT or CBT specific counseling!? I found DBT to be very helpful, more so than regular therapy!. It also helps to have a therapist who is available to you after hours, which many DBT therapists are!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
