Sounds like the right amount of time to get off the pill!. I just got off of it and it took about 2 weeks!. I tried once before a long time ago to just stop it all together and it was hell!. It makes your head spin and everything!. Follow your dr's orders on getting off of it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, you can, and here is the correct way!.

You take the medication very precisely at the same correct time every day!. Then you begin taking it exactly 30 minutes LATER but still the same dosage, each day, keeping the time BETWEEN DOSAGES the same!. You'll not be aware of any change!. Maintain this interval for a week!.
So, typically you'd take it at noon for a week

Then, change to 12!.30 the next day, 1!.00 o' clock the next, 1!.30 the next, etc!. So the interval is constantly now 24 and a half hours!., and you MAINTAIN this 24 and a half hours for a week (or more if you want)!. Don't worry about "slipping back" !.!. if you must take it sooner, then do it!. and it will sort itself out gradually!. Guilt is as big an enemy of progress as the drug itself!. So forget the guilt!.

When (and only when!) you feel ready, then change the time forward another 30 minutes!.(so your interval is now 25 hours)!. Do this for a week!.

And so on!.!.!. So you never feel you're 'cutting down' the dosage, just making it last a bit longer!. But when you feel strong-minded enough to begin cutting down the dosage, do it so gradually you'll not notice!. Take 3/4 of a tablet, and keep the fourth quarter handy, so you can always take it without feeling any "withdrawal" urges, and DON'T feel guilty if you have to take it!.!. just take it!.

P!.S!. -of course, if you're taking your medication twice daily, you simply adjust the times accordingly, making the 12-hour intervals half an hour longer, that's all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you think your doctor's whacko, don't just stop taking the medication; get a second opinion!. Keep in mind that the doctor isn't making money from you taking the medication; the drug company is!. Your doctor gets paid to take care of you, and he's honor-bound and legally bound to act in your best interest!. If you don't trust him, just find another doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was on it and had to switch to something else!. The doctor had me cut down the dosage about every three days!. This way my body got used to the lower level without going through withdrawals!. If you go "cold turkey" you are going to have withdrawals and feel like you are going to crack up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
