Start exercising if you already don't, it helps you deal with stress alot better!. Also, make sure you have a healthy diet believe it or not this is crucial!. Omega 3's are important!.!.!.keeps the chemicals in your brain balanced, lots of veggies and water at least 8 glasses a day!. If you are in shape phisically, u are as well mentally!. I usually go up to my room, and either find a good book, listen to soothing music, or go online and talk to friends about how I'm feeling!. They usually calm me down enough!.
I suggest finding an activity you find relaxing!. Reading, listening to music, talking it out, like I do, all are great, but that's for me!. You may be different!. You could do those, or play video games, watch TV/movie!. Take some deep breaths, and tell yourself that everything will be okay!. Even if you don't believe it, trust me, it will turn out alright!. If you have a religious community you belong to, you could go there!. Exercising relieves stress as well!. Do something that soothes you- for some people that may be counting by twos, or pacing!. It is different fore everyone!.

anxiety isnt a body thing, its an emotion which medication wont fix!. i was usually anxious, then i started going to church and well, it helped me ALOT

I'm not on medicine for my anxiety because it's not an everyday problem!. But when I'm really anxious, like tonight, I have a glass of wine!. I don't recommend that for you, though, since you're on medicine!. Have you talked to your therapist about this!? I'm sure he/she would have some ideas!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I personally just use art to release my anxiety!. It's a good way to put your feelings out there!. Painting, sketching, digital art!. It all helps!. If not art then I just play a good First Person Shooter game and release it that way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
