Getting RX for my anxiety.?!


Question: Getting RX for my anxiety!.!?
My physician prescribes me alprazalom for my anxiety and I have been out for a month!.!.!.!.so I was looking to get it refilled!. Well I thought maybe I could call and he could write a rx but they wanted me to come in again!.!.!.is there any particular reason for this!? Because I hate going to the Dr!.'s and esp!. for this reason!.!.!.!.I really don't want to go!.!.!.!.so I am avoiding getting the rx because of this!. I just don't like going to the Dr!. for this reason!. So does he need to analyze me again!? Should I just go to a mental health dr!. for this!? They are awfully pricey though (esp!. w/out insurance)Www@Answer-Health@Com

The doctor is just checking up on you to see how you are doing and to make sure you still need the alprazalam for your anxiety and to ask if it helped, etc!. Its just a general thing!. If he hasn't seen you in a while he wants to make sure its still something you need, since its highly addictive and they usually only give it to you for a while, not as use as an every day helper for anxiety!.!. They need to evaluate you every once in a while on any medication as it could cause other problems!. for me, my cymbalta causes high blood pressure so i have to get the monitored!. when i was on alporazam aka xanax or ativan, i had to be monitored for any signs of addiction because it can be deadly if not used properly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't get any drugs!. Just eat fruits/veggies, chicken!.!.!.
avoid caffeine, and start walking!. Vitamins, too!.

He wants to check you out because this is a drug people use to get high!. Your doc wants to talk to you and make sure you really need the prescription for anxiety and not because you like getting wasted!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc!.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc!.

Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level!.
But there are natural ways to do it without medication!. There's this strange herb called "St John's Wort" - it is said to be more effective than Prozac!.
