hey honey, i have been on lexapro myself for 2 months now!. i have anxiety!. i was on paxil, worked ok but i was on it for years and i wanted to try something new!. i seem to like it!. i dont have any side effects at all!. i do feel somewhat better!. i know it can take a while to get the full effect!. and you will slowly work up to the next dose if needed!. for me i like it so far!. good luck to you Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was ok at first, 10mg daily!.
After a month I needed to go to 20mg daily!.
I was having some shakes, especially in my legs!. I also had a very low libido and didn't have an orgasm when I ejaculated!.
Before I could see if 20mg was enough, a quack psychiatrist raised it to 40mg!. That's when the fun began!.
I fired him and before I could find another psychiatrist I had to go to the ER because I was shaking so bad!.
Soon after I was taken off Lexapro and put on Pexeva!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

just keep an eye on your mood!. they thought i just had depression and put my on lexapro!. later they found out that when i became even more suicidal that i was actually bipolar!.
lexapro is not a med for some one with bipolar but if you just have depression i have heard that it works pretty good!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is going to be my third year on Lexapro 10mg, and I haven't really had a great experience with it!. However, I know that most people do, so I think you really should try it, because it could be a really good match for you!. Good luck :]Www@Answer-Health@Com

My mother and my husband both took Lexapro for a very short time!. It made them 'droopy'; just tired and draggy!. I don't think either of them gave it a fair try!.
Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
