You're right!. Depression makes you feel like sleeping and being inactive, and exercise helps to alleviate these symptoms!. I had agoraphobia for years myself!. What did help me was a serious exercise program, but it wasn't my idea!. I had someone who cared about me and they pushed me so hard that I would get mad at them and yell at them, but it worked!. I ran and weight lifted and got in great shape!. Now I enjoy exercise and am in good health!. Actually, you don't have to leave your home to exercise!. There is a lot of equipment you can get and put a TV in front of it to entertain you so you don't get bored!. Do it and you won't be sorry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc!.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc!.

Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level!.

But there are natural ways to do it without medication!. There's this strange herb called "St John's Wort" - it is said to be more effective than Prozac!. No, it is not for mild depression only and ignore those sayings!. In fact, it does help anxiety and panic-attacks as St John's Wort works like prozac!. Other natural ways will be exercise, diet, more exposure to light, etc!.
The problem is that, even if your Serotonin is balanced!.!.!. you have that "learned behavior" in your mind!. You need to break that initial cycle to destroy that learned behavior - Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) does this!. A technique that you can use without CBT will be Distraction!.!.!. There are several other techniques to help cope them!
Ok, to use Distraction: Firstly, try to!.!.!.!.

Think about this for a second, The word emotion was obviously made up by another human being, as It's a word, like any other!.

So, the emotions we feel, can't necessarily be real, right!? do we only feel them and acknowledge them because for thousands of years we are told they exist!? This can be put on anything in this reality!.

Don't let your body control you, you need to control your body!.

Do some crunches, go for a run, you don't need motivation, you are beyond that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I joined a gym which cost me almost $500!.00 annually and THAT's what gets ME going!. Don't want to waste the money!.
It is difficult, but you just have to make yourself do it!. Once you get started it's not so bad!. It's that first time you go!. When I'm away from it for even a week due to vacation it is sooooo hard to get back, but after that first time it is easier!. Keep pushing yourself!. The buddy system works too!. Get someone else to share the pain!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The first exercise I might recommend for you is to practice speaking about yourself in the 'first person', ( I/me/my )!. It is an empowering exercise that gets us above all those sports casters who only have the use of one pronoun!. Seriously, it will help you OWN what you say is true for yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try a skipping rope!? You can build up quite a sweat! Although if you're doing it inside, watch that there isn't anything breakable in the vicinity!.
What about yoga!? or something similar!? I haven't personally tried it but it's supposed to be calming!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
