How do you stop feeling uncomfortable, less anxious, and positive again?!

Question: How do you stop feeling uncomfortable, less anxious, and positive again!?
Hi!. Everything in my life was going pretty good!. I had a job I liked, great family and friend relationships, felt strong, healthy, and happy!.

About a month ago, I was laid off my job!. I started to feel a little sad because I really liked it there and wasn't sure how I felt about working somewhere new, if I even got that opportunity!.

Well sure enough, I started a new job about 2 weeks ago!. It wasn't the greatest job, but it also wasn't the worst one I've ever had either!. It's farther away, pays less, and there are a few more duties than what I had before!.

On top of this, I've been worrying about my brother!. He and I live together!. We've always had a great relationship and it's nice having him as a roomie and it helps on rent for our house! He's been at his job for a year now!. The pay is pretty low and he doesn't like it all, but it's a job he says!.

Maybe I just didn't notice it before, but I feel like his personality has changed!. He doesn't seem as happy as he once was!. Maybe I'm imagining it, but I feel like he's not excited to tell me things and share stuff with me!.

Then my mind wanders and thinks why is he disappointed in me!? Why does he think less of me than my sister!? Why is he not happy to see me!?

I know he loves me! I was at home crying about work and he helped talk me though it!. Why am I thinking these thoughts!?

I want to go back to how I used to feel!. I've now made it so whenever I'm near my brother, I feel awkward!. I'd rather just be alone!.

What can I do to feel comfortable, confident, and happy again!?

Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

These are tough times, and everyone is feeling them!. I've been out of work for about six months, and this is the first time that I haven't been able to find another job that makes anywhere near the amount I made at my last job, so I know where you're coming from!.

You're creating most of your own problems!. This is "normal," because change (even good change) is stress inducing!. But "normal" isn't always synonymous with "better!."

Maybe the personality that has changed is YOURS, not your brother's, and he's reacting to your increased stress and negativity, and because he's not exactly happy with his own situation, your own unhappiness is an extra burden he doesn't really need!.

He listens to your problems and tries to help you feel better!. Make sure that you return the favor, and at the same time, don't interject your own problems into the conversation!. Save your own "stuff" for another time, and let his issues be the center of attention for a while!.

Both of you have jobs you don't like as well as you wish!. However, there are things that you don't like about yourselves and your surroundings that you do have the power to change for the better!. Start with something simple!.

Make your bed every day before you go to work, and wash up after meals, so you come home to harmony instead of chaos!.

If you don't exercise, see if you can get your brother to walk with you after work!. If not, go by yourself!. Change your hair!. Change up your house a bit!. Go online and look for recipes for tasty meals that don't cost very much!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

all i can think of is see a psychiatrist through your doctor , goodluck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

maybe he is acting that way because he has a problem that you don't know about!. talk to him about it and look at it as he needs your help!.
maybe he wants to tell you something but can't find the words to do it!.
your confidence will come back, your just going through a transitional change in your life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
