It's long, but I desperately need your opinions!. It's about my mother!.
According to my father, it all started when I was about two years old and my brother was born!. He said that one day, she just started being mean to him, and might have been depressed, but he wasn't sure!. She then started hating sex altogether and verbally abused my dad by calling him a bad father and throwing personal attacks towards him, which she continues to this day!.
Then one day, my dad's brother called from another state!. He hadn't seen them in a while, and after having a long conversation with my mom, he uttered the words "I love you guys," and she mistakenly interpreted it to mean that he wanted an affair with her--but he was engaged, about to be married, and wanted no such thing whatsoever!. She persisted to call him and harass him with amorous phone calls, which eventually led his fianc

Your father will have to go to counseling with her, or by himself, to get help with this situation!. It sounds to me like there is something wrong too, but it's not something anyone could figure out from a summary on yahoo answers!. She could have a personality disorder is what I think but I am nobody, just someone on yahoo answers!. I hope your father will consider seeing a counselor for help!. He probably won't be able to get her to go with him, but he can try!.
I have bipolar disorder myself, but that condition wouldn't cause these behaviors, I wouldn't think!. But mental illnesses run thru families!. I have a half-uncle with a paranoid personality disorder - he is sure there will be a revolution in the US and the economy will collapse, and in the 80's lost everything because he was sure the nukes were ready to fly!. this is very difficult to diagnose from the wording, it would be a case of seeing your mothers behaviour to understand the severity of it!. you'd also need to get her to consent to being seen by a specialist because it des cound like this is the case!. i doubt its a personality disorder or post-natal depression!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If your Mom is taking medication every couple of hours, she is over medicating herself, which of course isn't really helping!.
Your Dad is right, something is wrong, but how can you not know who the doctor is!? That doctor may be writing illegal prescriptions!. Is his/her name on the bottles!?
If so, contact him/her asap & make an appt!. Your Dad must go w/your Mom!. Your Dad can speak w/the doctor privately if necessary!.
She is exhibiting some symptoms of bipolar disease!. There are mental health agencies that have a sliding-scale fee!.
