Answers:
my best friend growing up was bulimic fo 15 years before getting real help!.!.!.what you describe is one of many feelings she had toward food!. when we lived together after college *I* had to go into therapy just to deal with her bulimic behaviors!.

bulimia is a tragic illness and not one to be taken lightly!. once you do act your feelings you will have a much more difficult road ahead of you, involving many unpleasant side effects, ruined relationships and possibly even death!. you should get into therapy now!. i kno that may sound drastic, but your attitudes toward food are definitely unhealthy and getting help now could save you a lot of pain in the long run!.

if money is a problem, many therapists offer a "sliding scale"!. this is a term meaning that what you pay for therapy will be based on your income, not the doctors regular fee!. google "sliding scale therapists, your town"!. i just tried it for my city to see if it worked, and many listings showed up!.

good for you for being self-aware enough to see that you have a problem and best of luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your obsession with the food indicates the potential to develop bulimic behaviors, but you are not there yet!. Nip this in the bud now and realize that your over-focus on this issue is a symptom of other anxieties and stress that you may be going through that you are not facing or speaking up about!. We develop disordered eating because of the way our mind works!.!.!.diverting our thoughts in another direction to divert them away from what is really bothering us!.

Try to choose healthy food that is good for you and will not make you feel guilty, and then try to ask yourself what else is going on in your life right now!. What is stressing you out or worrying you or hurting your feelings or making you frustrated, angry, or self-depreciating!.

Self-awareness and having a voice about what you think and feel will save you from developing bulimia!. good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've recovered form bullimia, and yes i think it does sound like you might be!. Try to have a more positive outlook on food, dont see it as the enemy!. And whatever you do please don't be sick!. Once you do it theres no turning back, it takes a lot of effort to stop, it took me about 6 months!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
