How long does it take for withdrawal symptoms for Lexapro to go away?!

Question: How long does it take for withdrawal symptoms for Lexapro to go away!?
I was on lexapro (20mg) since the beginning of this year for GAD!. It helped with the anxiety but the side effects from it were too much, so my doctor put me on lamictal and its done wonders with my depression and mood swings!. She told me to gradually get off of Lexapro which I did, and that was a month ago!. Since getting off it my anxiety is up and down and my head feels like there is a rock in it (heavy head)!. Its almost like vertigo!. I feel like I'm going to fall over and pass out and my vision gets blurry!. I never do, but I did notice that the feeling is heightened when I am anxious, like especially at work!. I almost want to get back on Lexapro just so this heavy head will go away! Has anyone else experienced this!? Is it normal, and how long does it take for these withdrawal symptoms to go away (if that's what this even is)
I have a doctors appt scheduled, but its kinda freaking me out so I was hoping someone could give me some advice on how to deal with this currently!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I took Lexapro at 10 mg and tapered off very slowly!. I took 5 mgs for a month or so, and then 2!.5 for a couple of weeks, and then 2!.5 every other day for a couple weeks, and then stopped!. I had absolutely no withdrawal symptoms!. Maybe you tapered off too quickly!. I would ask you doctor about this possibility!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

All meds are different with each person but it has taken me over a month for SSRI withdrawal symptoms to go away!. Maybe you reduced your dosage too fast!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Takes about a month but could vary from person to personWww@Answer-Health@Com
