People act on their own free will!. I don't believe there is a reason for all behavior!. The only reason I can think of for someone to rape is insanity!.

Men are unfortunately not 'wired' like women!. Its all an act of aggression, with role play notions of dominance, power and yielding!.
Rape is unfortunately 'very bad behaviour' or 'desperate' behaviour on the part of a marginalized or 'insecure' male to unfortunately:
1!. Take out his frustrations with women by 'trying' to hurt 'whomever' usually female he can!.
2!. Take out his frustrations with ['the system', or 'the man' ]by himself, because he sees himself as 'rendered' or 'judged', inferior!.
he is therefore in both explanations trying to mentally and emotionally make his bruised or hurt ego feel much better by venting his anger, both sexual and personal on someone 'weaker' in his eyes!. He therefore 'feels' stronger, and usually will continue to do so in some form or the other for life without significant intervention of some 'superior' kind, forcing him to do other wise!.

I can assume by your question that you are postulating that rape is evil and, therefore, affirming a moral framework!. Rape is the ultimate desecration and shatters all that is sacred!. I don't feel that it is for the sex, just for the dominance!. Don't get me wrong, sex is great, but if you don't care about the person, it just takes away from it!.
