I would like nothing more than to be sad, right now, but I only feel numb and detached!. How can I get past that!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Daniel!.

You have had a lot of issues lately leaving you feeling numb!. It
is time to get some help!. Call your family physician and get a
referral to a phychiatrist or a psychotherapist who is qualified
and licensed, to help you with this!.

Having a professional while going through this will help you learn
to priortize problems and deal with them without feeling numb!.

Everyone needs therapy at one time in their life!. Don't let the
stigma associated with treatment deter you!. I think it takes
a stong person to get professional help!.

I have linked to a site encouraging therapy for depression!.

Many people go through this, feeling isolated and numb and detached are just a few symptoms of depression and anxiety, I added anxiety only because anxiety and depression go hand in hand!. Theirs nothing wrong or right about not crying or showing sadness, it simply is what it is!. I can tell you from personal experience that most of these issues you are going through do get better once you have found closure to the problems!. You question how to get past this!? Well you just work with what you have, and make the best out of it!. Also having a positive attitude is very helpful, and keeping your mind busy is also important!. One bit of advise I'd like to put out their to you is to not get involved in any new relationships for a while, as many people who are going through what you are going through do this for self-gratification reasons, it seems to feel good at the moment so they act on instant impulses, not a wise thing to do!. So clean out your closet first, then move forward in life!. Good LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com

I call it sensory overload!. So much is going on that the mind can't handle it and sort of shuts down to rest!. It sounds lame, but its true: give it time!. Get your rest, exercise, take vitamins, and pray!. Also, therapy really does help!. God bless!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
