Question: I thought it was normal for a 14 yr old to feel like this!.!?
i am always sad!. no matter what!.
even if im happy!.!.im sad!. Doesn't make sense but its how it is!.
I get angry SO easy!.!.and sometimes at nothing!.!.At all out of the blue im mad and yelling or moody!.

I am sensitive and like nothing!.!.makes me cry!. I cry alot and i am depressed as it seems!.!.

i thought it was normal for a fourteen yr old to feel like this!.!.
and i feel like what i explain 24/7!.!.

i also feel ugly/fat ect!.!.when in reality im not fat!.!.and im not ugly but im defo NOOT pretty!.!.

am i wrong!.!.!.people are saying i should go to therapy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I feel like that too, and of course you're pretty!.

I have this depression thing, and I'm better now that I'm on medicine, and I'm not embarrassed about it!. It helped!. :] Talk to someone about it, okay, before it goes out of hand, with suicidal thoughts!. (It already happened to me, and it still happens, but it's okay!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

i was like that (actually, alot of people are)!. but put all the symptoms together, time, oversensitivity, angry outbursts, self loathing, and what is the most likely thing you may have!? depression!. it fits in the dsm-iv!. i'd seek therapy!.!.!.i didn't want it either, but i probably wouldn't be here if i didn't go!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe your missing something important in your life that you don't realize!. I know cuz i have the same problem!. I couldnt figure it out!. Why i was so sad all the time even when i was smiling i would feel empty and sad!. it took me over 5 years to figure out that i was missing something and that i needed to go out more and see and meet new ppl to help find myself!. It could be you are starting puberty!. Have you started your period yet!? I know that around that time of the month, one's hormones can start playing ping-pong with your brain!. I used to feel all kinds of feelings, from anxiety, to paranoia, profound depression, to who knows what!. The best thing to do is to tell your mom!. Trust me, she will know what's going on!. She probably went through the same thing as you!. And if the topic of therapy comes up, don't be ashamed!. A lot of people go through psychotherapy & it really can help!. Sometimes just talking out your troubles can do a world of good!. Trust me, I do feel for you!. I've gone through some stuff, myself!. Chin up & good luck!. I'm pulling for you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Unfortunately, this may not happen to everyone, but I wouldn't say it isn't out of the norm!. There are many teenagers who feel the same way due to hormonal changes and such + life experiences and expectancies!.

The good thing is, you are aware of your emotions and that they are irrational!. Use self talk--when you feel this way, consider the whole picture!. Figure out what it is that has you down and rationalize!. Is it really worth being sad over!?

While some of it may have to do with hormones, some of it also may have to do with nutrition believe it or not!. Make sure you are eating healthy and getting the right vitamins and minerals in your diet!. Start exercising regularly--use this as a way to escape and clear your mind!. Go for a nice jog or something!.

Finally, most teenage girls think they are overweight!. Unfortunately, this has led to a whole bunch of health problems among teenagers because of lack of nutrition (which is why I encourage you to focus on it)!. As a teenager, you place alot of importance on being absolutely perfect as far as looks go, but once you graduate highschool, you'll realize that doesn't go as far as you think!. Your personality, smarts, health, and other things will play a much larger factor!.

I felt the same way when I was 14 but I refused to think I was depressed!. I then carried that depression for three years before I went to therapy and got on medication for it!. I was on medication for two years while i dealt with my issues with a therapist and learned how to deal with my emotions in a healthy way!. I have since been off of medication for 3 years and am glad I sought the help i needed!. However had I acknowledged my issues when I was 14 I would have been a lot better off!. A therapist is a great neutral party to help you figure things out!. And if you don't like your therapist don't feel bad about trying to go to someone new!. every one has a different style and you should try around until you find someone that works well with you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
