How Do You Get Through Alcohol Withdrawal?!

Question: How Do You Get Through Alcohol Withdrawal!?
I'm am currently trying to quit drinking and so far today I have managed to stay sober!. I am a really heavy drinker and usually end up drunk seven nights a week!. My drinking is around the clock!. Today I am having terrible panic attacks and I am shaking a lot and feeling very scared and freaked out!. I know it's going to get worse but is there any tips on how to make it a little bit more comfortable to withdraw properly!?

Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am a recovering alcoholic clean for 11 years trust me its very hard !.You may want to talk to your Dr!. about butting you on a mild nerve medication but be very careful you can get addict to almost anything at this point just take it one day at a time talking to friends and family and maybe even a professional may help hang in there you can do it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Alcohol withdrawal is dangerous and should not be done without medical supervision!. I suggest going to the ER!. I'm not kidding!. It is going to get worse and you can die!. Alcohol and also tranquilizer withdrawal can cause death if not handled medically!. Other drugs can be ended cold-turkey (opiates, cocaine/crack)!. It uncomfortable but it won't kill you!. Alcohol can!.
Don't let pride kill you!. Please get some professional help ASAP!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

B vitamins help a lot, but take them with food and drink!.
Attend AA meetings (you might find some specifically for your age/gender) so you have others who've been through it to lean on!.
You don't have to go through this alone!.
Very best wishes for a bright and healthy future!.
Congratulations on your decision and determination!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

How the heck do you manage to get drunk every day!? Don't you get hangovers!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your GP should be able to refer you to some kind of Home Dettox course which in my experience is 12 days on a medication called Librium - and it works and you feel great, dont try quitting alone!.Be brave and ask for help start with yr gp,even if you have to get drunk to do it,Try and deal with the panic by knowing this panic/anxiety wont kill you its very very unpleasant but it goes away as quickly as it comes when you withdraw properly!.Dont be scared, certainally dont think your on yr own!.Withdrawing on medication is the best way and if I can find it here(I Live out in the sticks) you will be able to!.If you can get the help I had You'll find it easy to withdraw,as somone who knows exactly how yr feeling I wish you well sincerely!.Edward, seek help at ER Today or show up tomorrow regardless of how you look/feelWww@Answer-Health@Com
