Question: Whats the definition of a history of depression!?
I suffered with post natal depression needed anti-depressants now i dont think i have a history of depression and i dont think it will occur into depression!. Am i wrong and how do you define a history of depressionWww@Answer-Health@Com

I think it's defined as at least two significant episodes of depression!. You are a little more at risk of developing depression again in the future, and I would advise that you monitor yourself carefully during any further pregnancies and difficult life experiences, such as bereavement, job loss, relationship loss etc!. I don't think that one bout of post-natal depression really counts as a history in reality, although, theoretically, it could do, because it could be seen as a depressive episode in your medical history!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
A definition would be episodes that frequently affect the quality of your life!. Everyone has good and bad days, or feels blue, but gets over it sort of fast!. So, no, I don't think it will turn into a history of depression!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
of course you don't have to declare you had depression when you apply for a job!. It's illegal for employers to ask for that info!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
