Bipolar disorder has a very high suicide rate - higher than ordinary depression!.
There's also the problem that, during manic episodes, people often take ridiculous risks, and give no thought to their personal safety!.

most people suffer all thier lives without knowing they have it!. though the depression can lead some to suicide, most suffer through the swings!. i guess in the end that is deadly too, in that the stress takes a toll on your body!. no, most people that suffer from it dont kill themselves!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
