My Dad has suffered from Bipolar for 25 years so I have grown up with the illness!.
Yes, of course they can lead very full, successful lives!. My Dad has been a Civil Engineer, and now runs a successful hotel group!. He has also just completed his Masters Degree!. A pretty good example to people I think!!

People whose bipolar disorder is treated can be found in all occupations and all walks of life!. Doctors, teachers, lawyers, architects, writers, entertainers, managers, accountants, everything!. If this illness gets treated successfully then the person who has it can do whatever they want with their life!.
Untreated - or treated but not successfully -, it's a much more difficult issue!. Many people with bipolar disorder are forced to live on state benefits or minimum-wage jobs, regardless of their intelligence or ability, because anything more stressful would tip them over the edge!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Of course!. An individual with bi-polar disorder can do anything useful in life that any other 'normal' individual may want to do!. Simply because we have a 'bi-polar' disorder does not mean we cannot overcome the symptoms and live an interesting life!. A bi-polar person may have manic depression!. They may have mood swings and they may need to take medications to help them to stabilize the mood swings, lift the depression, or calm the mania!. I had a relative who suffered from bipolar and he led a very full and usefull life as a train driver, member of a choir, a dancer and a football referee!. He carried on all these activities well into his seventies but unfortunately bipolar took his life last year!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
As long as they take there medicine as directed,report to their doctors
truthfully whats happening,then yes they can!.I'm a bi-polar/depressed person who holds down a job,raised 3 kids myself!.I just have to work harder then others when my moods are going everywhere at once!.I'm not saying it's easy,cause it's not!.But when the doctor and I find the right medicine,things go along fine!.

People with bipolar can do anything just like anyone else!. I have a friend that is!. They just have moods, but they have meds for that!. It's not as bad as you think! Www@Answer-Health@Com
