I've been having panic attacks lately?!


Question: I've been having panic attacks lately!?
So, lately, I've been having these episodes, they come at least once a night, my dad died a year ago or so, and since then I've been terrified of death, now, I start to breath weirdly, shake, cry, and it's horrible, I don't know if you'd call these panic attacks, but that is the only way I can describe them!. I don't know how to calm myself down, tips!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

well, i had panic attacks, then my grandma died and they started again, i went to a couselor and they helped me alot!.!.!. trust me now i dont have them!! i know panic attacks are horrible things, but trust me you can get them to go away, try breathing in for 3 seconds, hold it for 7 and brathe out 8 seconds to calm your self down and stop hyperventilating, then draw doodle, read or computer whatever can get your mind off it and think ahppy thoughts of what your gonna do tommorrow and mabye get a counselor, i know it sounds like for a crazy person but trust me counselors work!.!.!. But so does God!.

Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc!.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc!.

Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level!.

I think what your having is anxiety attacks!. Drink a cup of tea sipping, take time, watch a good movie that you know makes you feel better, then go lay down and try to get some rest!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ask your doctor for a medication which alleviates anxiety!. There is no reason for your to go thru this on your own! Www@Answer-Health@Com

My dad died in July and I was going thru the same things!. I got prozac and every thing seems to be going well now!Www@Answer-Health@Com
