Question: I'm bipolar, and think I may be rapid cycling!.!.!.!?
I went a bit nuts today!. In first lesson, I was so depressed!.!.!. I could've almost burst into tears, seriously!. I sat on my own, and didn't talk to anyone!.
I'm not sure I can remember how I felt for the rest of the day, but when it got to last lesson we were writing an essay and instead of writing it I just wrote loads of stupid comments and drew smiley faces!. I couldn't control myself, and I was sitting there literally twiddling my thumbs and laughing out loud!. At the end, I had a moment of clarity and asked the teacher if I could do the essay again, and he said he's not going to make me!.!.!. so I said ''please, I need a bit of a kick up the @ss!'' and he said ''Bend over then'', and being in a stupid mood, I actually did!.
I was doing charity work in a card shop after school, and I kept singing really loud and laughing and generally acting like an idiot!.!.!. my boss kept giving me dirty looks, like as if to tell me to stop messing around but I couldn't!.!.!. I was having too much fun!!.!.!. and even my mum, who never notices anything, says I'm in a weird mood!.
I've stopped taking my olanzapine under a new psychiatrist's orders, could this be why I'm acting crazy!?
I'm worried I'm going to do something so stupid I get kicked out of school!.!.!. I need advice, please!.!.!. help!

See your psychiatrist straight away!. If you can't get an appointment, demand to speak to him/her and describe what is happening!. Don't go on your medication if the psychiatrist took you off it, until you speak to him/her!. Why did you get a new psychiatrist!? Maybe you need to talk to the old one if there wasn't a problem that caused you to leave!. Coming off medication can do terrible things to you!. I'm surprised that you were taken off it without being carefully monitored!. You should have been warned to ring up straight away if you felt any different!.

Oral ZYPREXA is indicated for the treatment of acute mixed or manic episodes associated with Bipolar I Disorder!. So taking you off it was a DUMB move on your doctors part you are going into a manic episode! See a doctor (a different one) QUICK!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes stopping taking bipolar meds will do similar things!. When my boyfriend stops taking/forgets to take his he gets all "la-de-da" and hyper--not like himself!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
