Is there something wrong with me? How can i cope with these feelings?!


Question: Is there something wrong with me!? How can i cope with these feelings!?
I'm your average white guy, short for my age, life at my mothers, first year in college, my life is pointing up and I should be happy!. I'm enrolled in a program that I enjoy!. I have alot of friends, about 2-3 close friends, i have no reason to be feeling inadequate!.

I always feel others are having more then fun then me, getting to more parties, having girlfriends, and just enjoying life more then me!.!.!. I've been in 1 relationship (rather unsuccessful one) it was all sex and no emotional connection, since i was like 14 I've been obsessed with girls, but they always seem to be not single, or just end up being "just friends" (or at least the ones i go for)!. I often ponder about how pointless life is, and wonder why everyone seems to be having more fun in life then me!.!. I don't get it!.!. My whole life goal i've been trying to get into a ACTUAL relationship and i can't even accomplish that!.!. I'm not ugly or anything, and i'm REALLY nice! I'm always smiling on the outside, but unsatisfied on the outside!. As if i'm a sad clown or somthing!.!. No matter how good I do at anything, i still feel like others are still enjoying more life then me!.!. The only time i don't have these feelings is when i'm around girls!. I feel that it's the cure to my problem!. But i'm unsucsessful in that department, so how else could i cope with these problems!?

Also the past 5 years i've always want to workout, and get in better shape (im alredy in great shape i have 0% bodyfat im just really skinny i want more muscles) but i can never keep into the routine of working out!. and i hate myself for it, the best i can ever do is workout every other day then i get bored of it by the end of the month, even though i can start to see the positive results!.!.

I'm increasingly hating life, and i can't afford psychiatry or a personal trainer!. I resort to asking on yahoo answers!.!.!. great idea right!? no ones going to answer this, and i just wasted my time writing all this, cuz i doubt i'll get anything more then a 1 sentence answer!.!. Just because you said that I'm going to write for a very long time!. It sounds like you have a serious problem and you should try and save money for a psychiatric session or confide in one of those close friends!. It sounds like you have a case of depression, although it is not very severe!. The reason you're asking this on yahoo answers is because you want to say what you're feeling, so do that! Talk to a plant, or a dog, or a person, anything, as long as you are explaining why you are feeling this way!. Just saying it out loud can help you understand what is happening and you might find the answer by yourself, or maybe not!. You need to stop feeling so desperate for a relationship and just let it be!. I'm not saying a god will suddenly make your dream girl appear, but wait until you get out of college, get a job, then you can look for a lasting relationship!. Finally, don't base your judgments on those around you because they are thinking what you're thinking, but acting on it!. When they do this, they neglect their grades, go through countless relationships, and otherwise fail at life!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

u need to stop comparing urself to other people!. ur not them, ur u, u should be satisfied w/ that!. and don't worry about ur relationships!. one day u will meet a girl that will fall in love w/ the really nice guy u are!. so just keep being him or else that girl will never find him, and u will never get to be with her!. if sex ruined ur first relationship, don't do it!. and the working out thing, maybe u should get a buddy to work out w/ u!. i used to try running a couple times a week but could never get myself to do it until my neighbor came w/ me!. it made it really fun and i looked forwared to it!. After listening to my 5 & 7 year old cousins, I think I'm going to say what I never had even thought I would before: Hannah Montana was right!. Life is what you make it!. Instead of worrying about the quality of life, go to those parties and find awesome and fun things to do!. Remember not to do anything illegal or totally wrong, though (;

I think you believing that girls are the answer to your problems are making it seem like it's true!. Everyone has done it before - Just like little kids feel fine if they fall, but when they see that it's bleeding, they cry murder!. Remeber when a band-aid made EVERYTHING better!? lol!. I do!. Just try to tell yourself you don't really need those women :0)

If you want to meet (decent) girls, go to places like the campus library or cool parties!. Better yet, look around yourself and give girls the chance that you normally wouldn't go for!. We're not all bad and some of us actually want a long(er) and meaningful relationship (:

Also, you shouldn't beat yourself up about not working out as often as you'd like for as long as you'd like :P If I'm correct, I think you're only supposed to 'work out' every other day, then some jogging / strenuous activity in between!. To keep it up for more than a couple weeks or so, start out small!. Have a goal to work out for so many minutes/hours a week and add on more the next week!. I always find to get into a good routine, you have to start from the bottom and build on top of it!. Maybe consider spicing it up by switching your work out method occasionally!.

Anywho, you sound like an amazing guy with a wonderful fututre!. Cheer up and it will all get better, I promise :D

u don't need psychiatric help, u need to realize that there are so many other people in the world with problems way worse than your little self-confidence issues and put those asideWww@Answer-Health@Com
