Question: Will a school councilor be able to help me!?
I'm pretty sure I'm depressed and i am really done feeling like this!. I am not close enough to my mom or dad to ask them to take me to someone, so would my high school councilor be able to help!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes they will be able to help!. in fact i would encourage you to talk to them if you feel comfortable!. but do be aware that their confidentiality is very limited and they will tell your parents anything you say about hurting yourself, they have to by law!. but it can be a great start!. good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you really dont want to tell your parents, ask them to see your physician/doctor and they'll talk to you in private , thats what my doctor did even though i didnt want to, my parents wanted me to speak to my school council but they're pretty wack, but you could try if you dont or cant speak to anyone else, if you have a true dependable friend you should talk to him/her also, or really if you just want to talk (not trying to sound all!.!.!. eh!.well, idk, and im NOT a physico or a crazy person ) you can always email me :) just find someone to talk to, it really helps even if your not quite sure if your really depressed :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

They might be able to help in some way but the best thing to do is probably contact your gp and get councillin through him or her as i am in similar situation to yourself and thats what i did i went to gp then they refered me to more professional services for example the local communty mental health team who are good !All the best Www@Answer-Health@Com

Logic tells you yes!.!. But they learn how to deal with this in a seminar, so their qualifications are specious!. But do try , they may just be a person whose been thru it and can help!.
Being depressed is part of being your age!.!. Hoverer if it is severe and interfering with your life , that is not normal!. So please do something !.
Look in phone book or on net and see if there are organizations for this specifically!.
YOu will be ok , I promise , just hang in and find the help that fits you and trust the process!.
