Question: What do you think of this simple poem about depression!?
The Black Dragon!.
The black dragon is powerful!.
It writhes around me, catching me within its form,
Twisting me,
Strangling me with its tail, its claws slashing my skin!.
It bellows thick smoke, blocking my eyes, clouding the world,
I drown in the darkness, whilst the black jaws gape and consume me!.

Im guessing you chose a black dragon because not only does black represent depression and morbidity but the dragon because it's powerful as you stated in the first line of the poem!. I think it's a good start to something that could be amazing if you only spent a couple minutes writing it!. Depression is all consuming and feels like your spiraling out of control and losing self like the poem states!. So i think it got its point across!. Very well done you should expand on this poem and post it later!. =)Www@Answer-Health@Com
Dwelling on your depression, writing poems about it, wallowing in it, etc!. is counter-productive!. You should first, seek professional help (if you aren't already)!. Then you should set your sights on getting better!. There's nothing glorious or poetic about depression!.

That does not at all describe anything about my clinical depression, it doesn't describe the loneliness, the aching depression and lethargy and wanting to die, sorry words cannot compare with the real agony of depression and not only that what it does to your family, job, health etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like severe depression to me!. I think it would be much better if you used something other than "The Black Dragon" to symbolize depression!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
