Question: I found out another of my diagnoses is depersonalization!?
what is this!? when filling out the normal paperwork at my psychiatrists office i notice the paper with my diagnoses marked as bipolar psychosis anxiety and depersonalization!. thanks :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

When I was in my mid 20's I would get it!. I recall being in the division of motor vehicles and getting my picture taken and feeling like I was not really there!. Although I knew I was indeed there!.
It's a very detached feeling!. You know you are there, you know you are in reality, you know what you are doing and stuff, but it's like there is an invisible screen between you and the real you!.

Sounds like you are dealing with some major issues!
Some of those disorders could be overlapping!. If you suffer from anxiety and bipolar disorder, it may/will be difficult for you to connect with others!.

Depersonalization SUCKS!. I have it badddddd!. It's the worst feeling in the world!. For me, it's not feeling like myself at all!. In fact, it's like I have no self!. I'm disconnected from my thoughts, my feelings, my mind!. Not only that but I'm detatched from my family and friends, my boyfriend!. It's very uncomfortable and it never seems to go away!.
I'm going to therapy, so far it hasn't helped that much but I haven't been going for very long!. Belive me though, I know alot about this disorder, I have 4 books on it and I've researched every website on it so if you want to know about it, email me, or I'll email you all the symptoms, ect!. The best website that I think describes it is wikipedia!.com!. Type in depersonalization disorder!. A lot of people think it stems from some kind of physical abuse or a traumatic event but that's not always the case!. Mine came from long term stress/depression!. Sucks : ( I feel for you honey!.

Hey gabe, it is a experience where you feel like you are outside your body or mind and kinda looking at what you are doing!. It is an anxiety related thing!. I never had it personally!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
