Can anxiety cause rapid shallow breathing when drifting off to sleep?!

Question: Can anxiety cause rapid shallow breathing when drifting off to sleep!?
Answers:
yes, because you are not relaxed and your mind is occupied with something else and your nervousness will create the rapid breathing!. you need to take a deep breathe and try to calm down and ease your mind!. don't think too much when you are trying to sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

How rapid are you talking about!? A breath every couple of seconds!? Or every 10 seconds!? I know that since it happens when you drift off it's practically impossible to count breaths, but the only way to judge rapid breathing is by counting!.

I suppose anxiety could be the source of it!. When you are aware of the breathing, are you dreaming also!? Perhaps a disturbing dream is going on!. Anxiety would increase the likelihood of weird dreams!.

If none of those options is correct, you really ought to see your doctor!. You could be lacking oxygen or who-knows-what!?

I hope your heart is not part of this!.

Anxiety can trigger many symptoms that vary a lot form one individual to another!. Tips to handle anxiety:
