Question: Are fear and insecurity related to depression!?

Depression often comprises poor expectations, which may be considered insecurity!. I think that my "depression", if it is really depression, certainly consists of thoughts that success is fraught with difficulty!. Either the people are impossible or my motive is not right or I may as well leave the matter to someone else!. I am certainly not fearful however!.

I think that depression may well have been a positive thing originally, in that in the Stone Age caused, or rather forced, dissatisfied people to move away from unsatisfactory situations so that they could develop elsewhere!. After all depression should have some evolutionary cause that had some advantage to the individual sufferer - otherwise it would not be so prevalent!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

when your afraid you feel powerless - because most people overcome their fears through knowledge sometimes realizing they weren't as powerless as they thought - being powerless is depressing

insecurity - being unsure of yourself is a perpetuation of fear - fear is being unsure of oneself because not one person should live in fear or being unsure of who they are!.

However it does happen - people every day live in fear or insecurities - it's when the severity of it takes hold that it is called depression!.
