I had councelling and I was really scared, the first time, they basically just ask about you and its nothin hard!. Just getting to know you really!. If its with your parents, they will ask about like who is in your family and just very basic questions!. Its not scary at all!.

The next sessions, they will just ask you to tell them something you want to talk about, e!.g!. an issue or a person etc!.!. and then they basically just listen!. Some councellers give advice on what to do about the situation but some just are there to listen to your problems!.

Its really good though and helps a lot!.!.

hope it all goes well for you!.!.!.and dont be scared xxWww@Answer-Health@Com

Don't be they are there to help you not scare you!. I don't know if you talk to both of the ladies or not!. My first time I went alone and I was 12 they just ask you questions and stuff!. It is just like meeting a new friend and then telling them alot of stuff you normaly wouldn't tell people that is what they are there to help you with!. Just use the experiance to the best and think of it as a good thing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depending on your age and what it's for, it will be completely different!. If you're over 18 your parents don't have to be there and nothing you say has to go back to them!. The first session is always a "getting to know you" session, trying to get an overview of your problem before they can begin helping!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

counselling is weird i go to see one!. i talk to her with my mom in the room and its just one counsellor!. depending on what it is the first day youre jsut gogni to talk about yourself and adress yoru problem!. its never diciplinary becasue they are there to help you so dont worry!.

dont be scared just tell them w!.e's bothering you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They won't give you any answers, just allow you to talk, and when you come to a question you're asking yourself they will help you to understand your feelings and thoughts and allow you to answer your own questions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ive had councelling also (with a man and a lady)
yea i understand where your coming from and i wouldnt be suprised if your stomach was doing cartwheels right now but honestly when you go in there after the first ten mins you realise they are friendly friendly happy chappys with your interest at heartWww@Answer-Health@Com

Relax!. The ladies concerned will explain everything and there is no need to be scared!. It's their job to put you at ease!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You talk!. That's pretty much it!. The first time will be more of a "everyone gets to know everyone else" sort of thing!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

They screw with your head!.

Past experience!. I told a counseller that I was bipolar, and she agreed and decided to give me drugs for something I didn't even have!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
