Question: Dealing with chronic stress from High School!?
Biography: ---------Little about me:
(I've came from a hardworking, but poor family!. Sadly at these 21st century times, it's hard to find poor people living on welfare)

All my life, my family and I have a strong connection, but there is always a lack of communication between us, because my mom and dad and I have a language barrier!. My mom and dad is always encouraging me to do all I can in school and secure a good job in the future!. Even though my mom has a slight case of schizophrenia triggered by stress and my dad works at the minimum wage level, they both been very loving and supporting throughout my life!.

High School:
From my freshmen year to my junior year, I attended one particular high school!. But then there was a twist in my life, and I had to move and go to a new high school!. At first, it was hard to deal with the stress because I feared loneliness and I never was very social because I hated all superficiality in high school, mostly all the stupid drama that made no sense to me!. I was very independant in my sophomore year, but I was very lonely!. This made me face alot of chronic stress built over school my school year, I was simply the kid who took responsiblity early and grew wiser in those years, so I didn't hang out with much people!. I've been only sociable, outgoing, and easy-going to people I have interest in, the smart, friendly, and open-minded people!. But usually, these conversations never built into friendships!.

Outside of school:
Last year's summer, I've had some time to find a part-time job to relieve my stress problem and it worked for awhile!. I've regained confidence and built some belief in myself, but later on as I went back to that High School, it felt like I was being thrown in the lion's den again to endure more suffering!. I just hate all the drama, immature teens, and superficiality!. - It makes no sense at all to me, it just a waste of my time!.

Problems:
Overtime, I've still built alot of stress on myself to the point of self-sabotage where I felt so angry at one point and began to bottle up my emotions and thoughts!. Now I felt afraid to say what I wanted to say!. High School shattered my confidence, made me procrastinate, and lost passion for my future education!. Because of the environment I had to endured all this time, my chronic stress is rebuilding itself and establishing to destroy my own confidence!.

See stress treatments, at ezy build, below, in section 42!. A certain level of stress is unavoidable, in modern society, so it is a good idea to develop effective coping methods!. Light to moderate daily exercise helps fight stress!.
For some people, it helps to visualise of a quiet, relaxing scene, (Imagine, as vividly as you can, that you are on a tropical beach, reclining comfortably; you luxuriate, as the the sun warms you, and a gentle breeze caresses your skin lightly, inhaling the tangy, sea scented, salt laden spray from the sparkling, translucent, aqua waves, crashing on the white, coral beach sand, and feeling the hot sand slip through your fingers in one hand, sipping your favorite drink with the other; all the while, the seagulls call, swoop and cavort playfully overhead in a cloudless, azure sky: you feel just like one of them, free to soar and cartwheel, or just glide in the moist, heavy air, and that this moment will last forever !.!.!. )!.

and the audio, as well as the printed version, at: http://www!.lessons4living!.com/relaxation!.!.!. and http://www!.amazon!.com/Ambient-Rain-Sound!.!.!. or the mountain river sounds!. Take 4 Omega 3 fish oil supplements, daily: (certified free of mercury) it is best if consumed with an antioxidant, such as an orange, or grapefruit, or their FRESHLY SQUEEZED juice!. If vitamin E is added, it should be certified as being 100% from natural sources, or it may be synthetic: avoid it!. Ginseng & Lady's Slipper are recommended herbal remedies!.

Practise daily, one of the relaxation techniques on pages 2, 11, 2c, or 2i; whichever works best for you, but the mindfulness breathing for 15 - 20 mns is ideal, although the progressive muscle relaxation can be learned quickly, and takes only several minutes, if pressed for time!. Repeat: "I feel calm" and/or "I can handle this!." Employ the EFT version for use in public, for which you can reasonably claim that you have a headache, as you massage/tap your temples, but it may be advisable to restrict yourself to subvocalising (saying it to yourself, in your mind, not aloud)!. Section 53, and pages 2, 2!.q and 2!.o refer!. "Even though I sometimes suffer from stress, I deeply and completely accept myself"!.

A variant of EMDR: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy, which has been used successfully for those people suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, insomnia, and anxiety, is shown in section 42, on page i, at http://www!.ezy-build!.net!.nz/~shaneris I have found that the 2 - 3 minutes spent using the EMDR markedly reduces distractions to the relaxation process, and is repaid many times over!. You can also multitask, using the gazing technique, as you walk/jog or exercise, by focusing on a distant object, or just focus awareness on how each step feels, noting any thoughts which flash across your mind, without pursuing any particular train of thought, just gently redirect your focus to the task at hand!.

For you, or others: A massage (at least neck and shoulders) with jasmine, lavender, juniper, and/or bergamot, or German chamomile essential oils added to the massage oil, and to a warm bath, preferably beforehand, to help make any tension knots and muscles more pliant (they may only want, say, a juniper and/or bergamot and/or sandalwood mix: check first)!. I am aware of advice that strong heat, applied to essential oils can damage them, and so I would not use a diffuser!.

Also consider anise, basil, bay, eucalyptus, peppermint, rose, and thyme!. Place some pieces of rock salt in a small vial, then add a few drops of the oil of your choice (the rock salt absorbs the oil and is less risky to carry around than a bottle of oil)!. Open the vial and breathe in the scent whenever you need a quick stress release!. See if they will do long, stretching yoga exercises, or t'ai chi with you (see section 2, at ezy build)!. Hi, it's hard moving schools, it's so unfortunate!.

This is my suggestion!. I did this when I was attending college and it made a huge difference!.

I went to to bed early and made sure I had 10 hours of sleep every night!. Before I went to bed I made sure everything was in order for the following day!. Lunch made, clothes ready, so I had no stress in the morning!. I created a routine for myself, so I had little thought of what I was supposed to do, I just did it!.

Make sure you eat healthy and take vitamins, particularly mega doses of Vitamin Bs!. You want to support yourself as much as you can so you can cope with your life!.

Try and extend yourself to others!. Dont be shy!. Try and make one or two good friends!. School is tough and boring sometimes, but remember that you need to get through it!. And realize that college will be different, it's not the same nightmare!.

I'm sad to hear about your Mom, but you are very fortunate that you have two parents that love you!.

Take up a few hobbies, maybe going to the gym, or jogging or a sport and find a buddy who shares these interests!. You don't need to hang around the 'drama' crowd!.

If push comes to shove, can you finish your schooling through long distant education!? Does your school board offer that!?

Also do you have any religious orientation!? Great way to meet people and faith can provide much comfort and direction!.

I wish you the best of luck!. I know you will be fine, though it's a struggle now!. I can see it in the way that you write!.

Hmm I can relate to you!. I am in the exact same situation as you are!. Only I have absolutely NO relationship with my family!. It's always been rough with me too!. I always hear the same thing from my dad "do good in school so you won't end up working at mc!.donalds flipping burgers for your friends!." I always try my best in school but it seems as if I fail anyway!. I am still in high school (11th grade) and I understand you completely!. Teenagers these days and they're effing drama!. I ignore it and move on!. Kids in high school are pretty brutal and it's all about the "in crowd!." I don't believe in that crap ofcourse!. I am sorry you are feeling this way, but it's not healthy to bottle your emotions up!. It always helps to talk to someone about your problems!. When I go to school I always see some girl bashing on another for stealing her boyfriend or for talking sh*t!. It's like move the f*ck on!. It is very hard to be an independant teen!. At least for me, 16 with noone but a 7yr old sister to turn to at home!. I try to entertain myself by taking a quick jog around the block with my dog, go to the park, joing groups at school you'll make quick friends! What I do to keep me in school is I think about poor John across the street begging for food and spare change!. Do you really wanna be like John!? Try your very hardest!. If you ever need someone to talk to don't think i'm weird I love helping people out!. I can trully relate to you!. If you just need someone to chat with i'm here for you (: Good luck as for astrology I don't know much of it all I know is that I am aries :D haha good luck hunn!Www@Answer-Health@Com
