What age is the youngest someone is able to form permanent memories?!
Question: What age is the youngest someone is able to form permanent memories!?
My friend claims she can remember things from when she was 9 months old!. I can remember one thing from before age 2 ( I don't know how old I actually was and it is a random memory!.!.!.nothing anyone could have told me) and a few things from age 2 and 3 and then a lot from 4 on up!. However, I almost don't believe my friend can remember something that happened at 9 months of age!. I believe she thinks she can,but she can't!. Is this possible!? In high school I was taught in one of my psychology classes that memory usually begins around age 2, but a child can recall earlier memories due to strong emotions that they felt like fear or sadness!. I can recall memories from when I was still in a crib and couldn't talk yet!. I remember trying to crawl out of my crib and pinching my fingers!. I also recall being around one years old and being in one of those infant seats on the back of my moms bike!. I can recall that because I remember how fearful I felt when she put the bike on the kickstand and I thought I was going to fall out!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
i remember something from when i was 6 months!. i was getting a shot!. i even remember i didnt know how to walk, just crawl, adn the shot didnt hurt, i couldnt feel anything!. only reason i know how old i was is cuz i told my dad about the memory and he told me its the place i went to get treated for my asthma when i was 0-1 years old!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Honestly, no one knows!. It's different for each individual!. My dad can remember things from when he was 18 months old!.
But there are false memories that we can make that turn into "true memories" if we start believing them!.
But no one can say when we start using our Long term memory!.

It's possible!. An infant cannot articulate verbally, but every emotion they experience is stored up in the body!. Recall *is* possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
