Question: Is it wierd to write a story about death and Attempted Suicide!?
I wrote a short story spur if the moment yesterday, and it dealt with the loss of a Family member and Suicide!.
Is that a weird thing to be writing about!?

Not weird at all!.
In fact it's a (somewhat) common theme!. And even if it WAS weird, that's okay!. Writing is art, it's one of the few areas where being a little odd is encouraged!.
Be careful not to make it overly melodramatic!. That may come across as a cry for attention by some emo kid and will get less respect from the writing community!.

Yes the spiritualists believe that we should be more in tuned with death and be open about it as it will happen to all of us, do you often visit cemetery's and observe the beautiful tomb stones!?
