Panic attacks plz help?!


Question: Panic attacks plz help!?
heres the deal i haven't been outside during the day time in months i suffer from really bad panic attacks and it goes away only at night!. i cant work shop or do anything during the day!.im wondering what the lack of sun can do for my health!.!.i mean i can look out the window n things but the thought of going out during the day frightens me !.!.serious answers only please!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A lot of panic sufferers tend to become a lot more sensitive to light!. The way this was explained to me was because of the adrenalin dump we get through panic attacks (and the elevated adrenlain levels just through having anxiety) a lot of our bodily functions become more sensitive!. One of the functions is our eye sight because back in the caveman days when we were chased down by a predator our fight of flight response would kick in!. In the case of our eyes they become hypersensitive to pick up on moving things!. This hypersensitivty can and does make us alot more sensitive to light!.

Also you are suffering from agoraphobia so eventually you will need to challenge yourself and go outside for a set period of time and slowly build up!.

With panic and anxiety i cannot stress enough the importance of exercise!. Lately i've been going out at night for walks and am starting to feel the benefits!. Aerobic exercise burns off and metabolises the excess adrenalin and also releases endorphins which is the bodies feel good chemical!. Your also shooting two birds with one stone by going out for a walk your challenging your agoraphobia!.

Remember start out small and build up, Rome wasn't built in a day!. Set small goals and achieve them and you will be back on your way to recovery!.

You may have a form of the disorder 'agorophobia' !. Research the disorder and see if it is what pertains to your situation!. Then take steps to deal with it or to start to!.
You need to get psychiatric advice on how to deal with your fear of public places during the daytime!. Going out in the day, everything is revealed because of the light especially your fears!. I have a similar problem to yours!. I've been at home for months and I cant remember the last time I looked outside the window!. I have lived this way most of my life and the only negative effects I have noticed are:
Lack of self esteem!.
Insanity, (like talking to your self or by your self)
Negative thoughts!.
Becoming weird or awkward in social situations!.
Lack of friends or relationships!.
Lost of interest towards life!.

But it's not all bad news! Positive effects:
Immunity towards boredom!.
Become more productive!.

I have deliriously crazy panic attacks when i drive on the freeway at night!. I dont know why but its been going on for over two years now!. But I can't restrict my life by not going out so everytime i have to drive on the freeway at night i give myself a pep talk and and i deal with the crazy anxiety i feel on the highway at night!. there are times i am like!.!.!."its too dark! i can't see where i am going!" and i want to just pull the car over to the side of the road and give up!. But i can't!. i am better than just giving up like that!. and you are better than just staying hidden in the daytime!. maybe!.!.just maybe!. try going outside during the day and allow yourself to feel scared like i do when i drive on the highway at night!.!.!.get through it just one time!. the next time may be easier!? i drove to another city last night and although i had my usual panic attacks they weren't as bad as they were before!. if a nut like me can do it you can do it!. best of luck fellow anxious person!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

U shld get help asap ! the more u drag the more fearful the day will be to u ! u can get them to come at night to help u bit by bit!. u must cure the root of ur problem; the root of ur fear!. if not how long are u going to hide!. the panic will oni bcum worse ! by then u may need a longer time n harder to recover ! i walk out from a depression 3 yrs ago, a very bad 1, u dun just depend on ur loved ones to help u, u must help yourself in order for ppl to help u ! yes, sometimes i'm depressed again but i learned to stand up strong for my loved ones too cos not oni i need them, they also needed me ! tis is the power thinking that got me tru all difficulties ! : > wishing u getting the gd sunlight soon : > Www@Answer-Health@Com

youmay not be able to go out during the day but let the light in you do need sun if you feel insecure let the sun in through a curtain but get some real natural lightWww@Answer-Health@Com

my doctor says if u hav a panic attack u should breathe in and out of a paper bag!. ive never tried it thoughWww@Answer-Health@Com
