Of Manic Street Preachers !? Do you think his depressive illness caused him to retreat and become anonymous in a place where he could start afresh !? Why and how do people 'go missing' !?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think he probably died!. It sounds morbid, but I think that if he was alive, someone would have recognised him by now, someone whould have broken his cover!. And the fact that he was so depressed means he was a high risk for suicide!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Wow, not thought of Richey Edwards for a long time! I went through a phase where I was a bit obsessed with him when I was younger ;)
I personally believed that he killed himself!.
I think people go missing for a number of reasons!. A big one as you mentioned, is mental illness!. I struggle with depression and there have been a few times in my life where I would have just move away where nobody knows me and started again!. The main reason that stopped me was lack of savings!. I was realistic and didnt want to throw away my job and end up homeless in another city!. Im sure if people have the funds/means in place to go away and start again, they will if thats what they want to do!.

People go missing for many reasons, many of whom are depressed!.
Some indeed never make it back!.
