How can I overcome my anxiety?!

Question: How can I overcome my anxiety!?
Ok so I
Answers:
Hon, you clearly need to seek professional assistance!. And don't be shy about doing so!. What you have is very common, especially at your age!. Your generation is under so much pressure to be "perfect"!. I really don't know how any of you handle it!. Also, it's very possible that you're an introvert!. And there absolutely nothing wrong with being an introvert (I'm one but it took me years to embrace that fact)!. Anyway, cognitive psychology is a great way to reduce the anxiety and panic attacks!. You might want to read "Don't Panic" by Dr!. R!. Reid!. You may also need to go on a low dose of citolopram to get your brain chemistry back in sync (otherwise it just goes on and on and on with no relief)!. Again, google local psychologist/psychiatrists in your home town and don't hesitate to make an appointment to see someone!. You may also want to approach your mom again and say "Mom - I need you to pay attention!. I'm in trouble!. Please don't tell me that this is nothing!. I'm depressed, seriously depressed and I need your help!." I know that as a Mom sometimes my kids really have to hit me upside the head to get my attention!.!.!. it's because as Mom's it's really hard for us to deal with our kids being unhappy!. But you're an adult now - and it's ok to really speak up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had the same problem
I went to see a counselor about it
she showed me methods of hypnosis that worked really well that i could do myself during the day when i started to feel anxious!.
try getting a book from the library on it, it really works!.
if that fails, don't be ashamed to go to the doctor to get medication because it can go away and you can still live your life without having to worry about anxiety problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know you don't want to go to the doctor, but I think you should!. I have the same problem and have been seeing a therapist, and it has been helping me a lot!. Nowadays, more and more people are seeing therapists, so don't feel bad about it!. Hope this helps! =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are not alone!. Go see a doctor so that you can get the right medication and you will feel much better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc!.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc!.

Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level!.
But there are natural ways to do it without medication!. There's this strange herb called "St John's Wort" - it is said to be more effective than Prozac!. No, it is not for mild depression only and ignore those sayings!. In fact, it does help anxiety and panic-attacks as St John's Wort works like prozac!. Other natural ways will be exercise, diet, more exposure to light, etc!.

The problem is that, even if your Serotonin is balanced!.!.!. you have that "learned behavior" in your mind!. You need to break that initial cycle to destroy that learned behavior - Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) does this!. A technique that you can use without CBT will be Distraction!.!.!. There are several other techniques to help cope them!
Ok, to use Distraction: Firstly, try to!.!.!.!.

OMG i am the same exact way!. I too am 18 and feel as though I have gotten much worse!. I go into a store and feel like everyone is looking at me funny and hate being stared at!. Its gotten so bad that I actually am not going to college and am taking a year off!. I feel so stupid cause my parents don't understand how bad I really am when it comes time for socializing!. I don't even feel like being around my friends anymore, like nothing excites me anymore!. It really sucks because I am so self conscious, sorry im not really answering your question its just that I relate so much to you!. I don't want to go to a therapist either cause I would feel so stupid!. If you figure out anything that helps let me know!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

Never become obsessive over what others choose to see!. You are your own person, don't make friends with people that choose to see what they want you to be!. Be yourself!. Be really honest and kind yourself!. Respect yourself, above everything else!. Be outgoing, but not overwhelming!.

Be yourself!.
And if you need help, any type of person you think to yourself as a role model can help!. a teacher!. counselor!. neighbor!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
