If you can't handle stress does that mean you are weak willed?!


Question: If you can't handle stress does that mean you are weak willed!?
That somehow your parents didn't toughen you up enough to stand up to the rigors of "real" life or that you should've joined the army to make a man of yourself!?

How does one learn to cope, my drinking alcohol, watching sports like many people, or through other means!.

I have so much stress it's crossed over to distress and I avoid people, am intensely angry, and can barely function!.

I'm already under a doctor's care, but he has no solution for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not at all-

most people have a stress threshold and if they cross that through build up of stress, then extra stress can be distressing!.

You need to find way of release of tension you have built up so you can once again have a fairly normal stress threshold and find stress that happens more manageable!.

I would suggest , yoga class, ,massages to releave muscle tension, getting organised In your life!.

Sex is a good stress releaver if in relationship!.

Any time for yourself for a relaxing pleasurable hobby!.

Healthy diet to avoid body gettin irritable!.!.

Good sleeping pattern to be well rested!.

You will find after practising these for a while your ability to cope with stress will increase, and u will also be a little less avoidant socially !.

No, that does not mean you are weak willed!. It means life has got you down, it means people don't treat you as they should, it means bad things have happened to you, and none of it is your fault!. It is not a reflection of you at all!. You learn to cope when you stop blaming yourself and realize that you are better than the people who put you down!. You learn to cope by doing what you want, doing what is good for you, and ignoring others' expectations and opinions!. You do something good for yourself!. Find a way to take out your anger!. Take up boxing, start running, whatever works for you!. You are not weak!. You are strong for making it this far, and your strong enough to keep going!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Any type of mental illness has NOTHING to do with being weak!. It is a chemical imbalance in the brain just like being a diabetic!. Are you on medications!? In order for a person to have the correct chemical balance in their brain medication is often needed this helps the serotonin in the brain to help transmit messages to the correct receptors!. You may need a new doctor,,,,,For sure consuming alcohol does not help your situation-STOP!. Saying youre weak willed is like having cancer and saying you're weak willed YOU need treatment now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not at all!. Stress can kill by inducing a heart attack or stroke!. It has nothing to do with willpower!.

If your parents didn't let you learn to be independent little by little as you got older, it can leave you unable to function properly once you are an independent adult!. It's called "learned helplessness!." You might also be a sensitve person and things hurt you more!. I'm sensitive too!. Just because your doctor has no solution doesn't mean there isn't a solution!. It's never too late to learn how to solve problems!. There are programs that teach problem solving and it's helpful!. You can start by deciding you don't have to be a victim any more!. You need to forgive people who have hurt you and then start to set up boundaries and learn to solve problems!. Once simple formula is to sit down and think about what a problem really is about!. Then write down various solutions!. Then choose the best solution, and do it!. It sounds simple,but if you start living this out, eventually you will find yourself feeling safer around people and less swayed by events!. You don't have to be tough, you just need to know you don't have to do what everyone else wants you to do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
