Answers:
General Anxiety with panic attacks!. I got it too after some bad experiences with ecstasy and I'm also on lexapro!. I've been on it for 2+ months and it's doing a good job at keeping my anxiety at bay!. But for you it's been over a month and you're still feeling the same!.!.!.!? Maybe you need to be on a higher dosage, because lexapro is supposed to start showing some results after a month, sometimes even after 2 weeks!. But don't worry!.!.!.!.it WILL go away!. Keep reminding yourself that anxiety disorder is extremely common, nothing is wrong with you and you're just freaking out, and you're surrounded by people who love you and will help!. I thought that I was gonna die too but that's what anxiety does!. It's all in your mind!. Next time you see your doctor/psychiatrist, explain to them everything and they'll up or lower your dosage!. Remember: NOBODY has ever died from a panic attack or anxiety!. It is NOT a physical condition!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

If its anxiety this might help!.!.!.!.
Here is what I learnt about my anxiety attacks when i was in a prvate psychiatric hospital!.!.!.!.

Got my notes out and here you are;

Reducing Panic

Drink a VERY cold glass of water or suck an ice cube, this hits a nerve at the back of throat which helps to slow the heart down!.

Breathe in and out of a paperbag

Thought stopping
Rubber bands around your wrist and flick when thoughts escalate

Push between your thumb and finger until a dull ache, this should help distract thoughts!.

Positive imagery - think of a positive calm image!.

Focus on the world around you, talk to yourself and describe to yourself everything around in minute detail!.

Correct your body posture

Play a mental game, soduku or a crossword for a few minutes!. This will distract you!.

Negative emotions (like sadness, stress, anger, etc!.) causes your Serotonin production to be low; when your Serotonin level is low, you are more prone to getting Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, etc!.

Medication like Antidepressants (SSRI - Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) helps to boost Serotonin level!.
But there are natural ways to do it without medication!. There's this strange herb called "St John's Wort" - it is said to be more effective than Prozac!. No, it is not for mild depression only and ignore those sayings!. In fact, it does help anxiety and panic-attacks as St John's Wort works like prozac!. Other natural ways will be exercise, diet, more exposure to light, etc!.

The problem is that, even if your Serotonin is balanced!.!.!. you have that "learned behavior" in your mind!. You need to break that initial cycle to destroy that learned behavior - Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) does this!. A technique that you can use without CBT will be Distraction!.!.!. There are several other techniques to help cope them!
Ok, to use Distraction: Firstly, try to!.!.!.!.

it sounds like bad obsessive-compulsive disorder
try finding some other OCD people
ask them what they do
i have slight OCD
i usually just tell myself to "chill", tho that doesn't always work
if it doesn't i turn to music and movies and books and use their messages to calm me!.
talk to friends and family!.
when u r panicking, ask urself if ur problem is really all that bad, address it, be grateful for what u've got
and don't worry about dying: if u do that, then u can't live
if none of this works, maybe ask ur doctor about antidepressantsWww@Answer-Health@Com
