Can't control myself binging!?!


Question: Can't control myself binging!!?
hi, i've been trying to stay quite fit and everythin, but chocolate is a big weakness!. ive found in the last 3 days ive been overeating on chocolate hugely, and i have this mental fight now, either no chocolate or all chocolate!. its reli kind of annoying and killing me!.
any suggestions are hugely appreciated!. how do u control it!? thanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

Firstly, be kind to yourself!. Is what you're eating an actual "binge" or is it a little more than normal because it's Halloween!?

If you feel out of control after having given into the *normal* urge to eat chocolate, it might be helpful not to have any in your house right now!.

A better idea might be to look into what else you're eating/not eating!. Are you denying yourself delicious and nutritious food!? Are you obsessing over every calorie that goes into your body!?

When you do eat, do you feel present/in the moment!? Do you taste the chocolate, or inhale it!?

Something to try: before you eat your next piece of chocolate/binge food, take a deep breath and WAIT 10 minutes!. If in 10 minutes (during which time you should distract yourself/journal/leave your kitchen/whatever) you still feel like you would *enjoy* a piece of that chocolate, have ONE!. After you eat that one piece, think again about how you feel, and if your body would enjoy another piece of chocolate, or if you feel compelled to compulsively eat another!. If it is the latter, take another 10 minutes and distract/self-soothe!.

You have every right to enjoy that chocolate and not let it control you!. You are more than what you eat!

Gosh, your question is difficult to answer with certainty!. My approach is the delay the first "dose" as late into the day as possible!. Think of an alcoholic having a drink for breakfast!. It would just set off the triggers to a day long binge for an alcoholic!. The way you talk to yourself is important!. You say "either no chocolate or all chocolate!." That is kind of a hint that maybe you should go to "no chocolate" for a while!. Just, a suggestion!. Good luck!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

does it happen to you especially when you are on your period if you are a girl!? There is no easy answer all I can suggest is to drink water through out the day this will help the chocolate to digest and purify you, it may also put a stop to your chocolate cravings!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If chocolate is what you crave, then eat it!. Depriving yourself won't work!. Instead, try getting some healthy alternatives like chocolate pudding or chocolate cereeal such as smores!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
