Obsessional behaviour ... help please ... ?!

Question: Obsessional behaviour !.!.!. help please !.!.!. !?
I have a friend who plucks their eyebrows to the point of obsession !.!.!. they do it while watching the TV and while they are asleep, to the point where soreness and bald patches develop!. This creates anxiety in them and seems to create a vicious circle of behaviour!. Apparently, this has been going on for ten years and is always worse at times of heightened tension, but never goes away!. What course of help should they seek!? I understand that they have tried a brief course of hypnotherapy without success!. Your ideas and experiences please!. Thanks everyone !.!.!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

How does someone pluck their eyebrows while asleep!?

I would suggest that they find something else to do with their hands all the time!.

How about a stress ball that they could continually squeeze rather than let their fingers wander to their eyebrows without knowing it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Learn to recognise problems and try to solve them before the anxiety starts and also try some deep breathing Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have a similar habit whereby i continually pick spots on my body!. as for a remedy, maybe try the hypnotherapy againWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well my first choice would be to hide all of the tweezers, razors, scissors, ect!. and maybe tape or tie their hands while they sleep!? Or they could possibly go to rehab if its that serious!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
