How do I get over my fear of needles?!

Question: How do I get over my fear of needles!?
I'm squeamish and I have already had a needle about 2 months ago, in School I am having Cancer Injections, it stings quite a lot, and when they put the cotton ball on you and you apply pressure it still stings, so it does hurt, but it's better than having cancer, but I let my fear and imagination get the better of me and think of it a lot worse like focusing on it piercing my skin and going through my veins, so how do I either focus on something else or get over it completely!? Last time I went pale, starting losing my hearing and if I didn't tell someone straight away and get put in the fetal position I would of fainted, please resist the urge to call me a baby, but if you must you must!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are not a baby!. You are very brave!. You are having Cancer injections!. I think you know very well from your experience that the injections hurt and sting!. Maybe try to think about how it's only going to hurt for a short time!. The discomfort will pass!. Try to talk to the person that is giving you the needle!. This might help get your mind off what is going on at the time!. I wish you all the best with your health!.

Don't get worried!. I got nervous when having my jabs last time, I almost felt like I was going to faint!. But the nurses were really nice so it made me feel a bit more relaxed!. Just close your eyes or look away when they do the injection!. Look at a poster or try to think of something nice like ice-cream or chocolate!. It does hurt a bit sometimes but it's over very soon!. It is literally only 2 seconds, and you can barely feel it, so don't worry!.
