Question: I have an important question!. please read on!?
OK!. so my question is about my teacher
I have struggled with anorexia and bulimia since I was 11!. I also struggled with cocaine addiction- and I 'suffer' (<<I don't suffer!. I live with it!. but idk how to explain it!. I dont wanna sound like a victim) with Bi Polar Disorder and PTSD- just to name the major things
I go to a school made for people with issues like my own!.
but there are maybe 4 people of 40 who struggle with eating disorders
2 are doing great in recovery!. 1 whose doing terrible and me!. who is stuck in btwn
so I've come a long way!. 3 years ago I chose to have a tube put in my nose so I would live!. then I spent a year in residential treatment and now I go to my school!.
I am one of the people who have come the furthest!. but I've been struggling with my eating a little latley!.
so today I slipped up and purged (I dont binge!. so I purged my regular lunch) I guess I was in there for a while
one of my teachers (lets call her mrs r) walked in and asked if I was OK!. I told her yes and walked out in to the main area until she went away!. then I washed my hands and got back down to business!.
so I guess someone told (mr!. c lets call him) that I was in there for a while!. mr c is awesome!. he's had a hard life!. grew up on the southside!. (he's white before you ask!.!.!.even tho it doesnt matter!. but whatever) and he had his fair share of drug issues!. now he's the assistant principal/english teacher!. and he is also my home room teacher
he's an awesome person that I would trust with my life
so he came in (half way!. he didnt wanna come in the girls bathroom) and asked how I was doing!. I told him fine and that I didnt feel good!. so I washed my hands and face and he said
"I think you know what I am going to ask you"
"go right ahead" <me
"did you purge!. you can tell me I wont get mad"
"no!. I just dont feel good"
so!. I'm sure he knows I lied!. so I Emailed him and apologized!. but I havent gotten a response!. (he always checks his school mail)
and I'm worried that he's mad that I lied to him
if you were him- would you be mad!?
or is it dissappointment!?
would you hate me right now!?

As an adult I would just be proud of you for admitting you lied and apologising!. To me this shows that you have come a long way!. An eating disorder is the hardest thing to overcome, hang in there and take it one day at a time!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

if anyone is going to be upset with you about it though, it'll be because they thought you could tell them anything, and feel hurt that you didn't trust them with that information

since mr c is a teacher, and also someone you trust with your life, he probably was concerned and is happy that you ended up telling him
if i were him, i'd be thankful you told me
but hurt that you did it because you were doing so well!!!
don't give up- we all have problems and they all have to be dealt with and sometimes we slip up, but thats okay!!!
just keep doing what youre doing and you're going to be great!!!

oh i feel bad for you!. i used to have an eating disorder that made me scared to swallow n stuff so i got super skinny!. so tho i was never bulimic or anything i still understand!. :) its okay!. just know that one day it'll be over!. its a hard battle cuz ur fighting against urself and wat helps is little steps at a time!. if u happen to improve one day, the optimism will boost ur will power SO much!. and u might get worse n then better again!. but eventually itll go away!. just a matter of time!. :)

lol im drunk and forgot the second sentance from the third but you must of sniffed a hell of alot of coke to end up getting tube in ya snozz i sniff regulary and my nose is fine u must be a major coke addict or your getting cut coke that probably doesent mean **** to ya but i thought id type any ways for the sake of it lol like i said im drunk Www@Answer-Health@Com
He appreciates your appology and might be trying to decide what to say to you next!. He doesn't hate you!. He may be a little dissapointed that you lied to his face, but he's proud that you owned up to it!. Hang in there, and the next time you see him, go up to him and talk to him!. No, no, and no!. People with your (and other) disorders rarely want to flat out tell someone the truth about it, especially if you feel ashamed or embarrassed!. Now remember, you said yourself that he is a teacher who has had issues in the past, so I guarantee he has an extreme tolerance and understanding!. maybe he hasn't got around to checking his mail, or he decided to wait until there was a chance to talk to you in person!.
If he is mad about that, he probably wouldn't be a teacher there, so just put it in your head that he is calm!. It would probably help if you told him in person!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
